Always a favorite for locals and visitors. We went for a birthday dinner and sat outside because we had a dog. The heaters warm up the covered patio nicely. We started with the Frito Mista and focaccia bread. Around the table, we had the Bronzino fish, handmade pasta, and lamb the shank. All good. Great service and personal attention.

Food was excellent. I little expensive but was cooked perfect. Definitely try their lamb shanks. Tender and juicy. They also have a wide selection of wines and cocktails. The waiter/server was so attentive and always made sure our wine glasses and water cups were filled. She was also great at giving us tips on the perfect wines to pair with our meals. The environment was relaxed and vibrant. Moderate noise when its busy, but beautiful scenery of the vineyard that’s right next to the restaurant. Overall had a great experience and definitely a great spot for lunch, dates, or birthdays.

Bistro has been serving clients for 30 plus years. Nestled among vine yards but in close proximity to downtown. Menu is traditional Italian dishes and wine. We as family walked in for Lunch. Although it was rush hour, the front desk was courteous and seated us in 5 minutes. The Frito Misto: Calamari, Shrimp, Fried Onions, Beans and Aioli, Ravioli, Pizza and Butter Scotch Pudding are must try at the Bistro. Awesome Food , customer friendly service and a great dining option when in Napa Valley.

We came here for our 5 year wedding anniversary because we wanted a nice romantic dinner and this was such a good choice. It is such a charming spot, so many twinkle lights in the night, which I love. We sat outside on the covered patio and even though it was very cold outside, we were quite warm with their heaters. Our server was very kind and attentive. I just returned from a vacation in Italy and I was nervous about eating Italian food in America again especially because I am gluten sensitive, but their gluten free pasta was incredible, perfectly cooked and delicious. That eith the Veal parmesana was to die for. My husband got the lamb shank which he enjoyed but he admitted he liked my veal better. We had their signature butterscotch pudding at the recommendation of our server, which was not bad – not what I expected but it was very rich and deep almost, what felt like notes of espresso and vanilla bean. And my husband had their pistachio gelato which he enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back, that veal parmesana is still rolling around in my mind 🙂

We were referred to come here after an extensive wine tasting and we were hungry!
Luckily we’re able to snag a table in the peak of lunch. This place was boomin with business and we had heard great things.
They brought out some complimentary focaccia which was on point along with a spicy olive oil concoction.
The server was so nice and helped make some recommendations for us.
We started with the calamari and large caesar salad which was plenty to share around the table. There were some other fried veggies that accompanied the calamari so I enjoyed that.
Veal Parmigiana was solid. I don’t really eat fettuccine Alfredo but the bite I took was addicting. It was creamy and not overwhelming and I wanted more.
Pollo Alla Diavalo – They cooked this chicken to perfection! I mean the crispiness they got on that skin was insanity. The chicken was juicy, crispy, tender and that just underneath was full of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by that dish.
Hubby got their GF bolognese with Casarecce pasta. That was so nice because most bolognese we’ve had GF has been with a rigatoni so this was a nice change.
Lastly, I got the ravioli and was able to do a 50/50 split on the sauces which I was so happy about.
The entire experience was so fun with passing the plates around and getting to try each other’s food. I felt like we were at an Italian home. The portions were nice sizes and all the flavors were there! I can see why this place continues to be so busy, even for lunch!

Cute Christmas decorations so was super easy to spot the restaurant.
We did some wine tasting in Napa and needed a quick bite before heading back to SF.
Stopped here for some pasta. They were kind enough to customize and get us a Vegetarian dish.
What we got was spaghetti with vodka sauce for around $23 or so.
However saw a lot of sea food on the table so maybe it’s good for seafood! @thefoodblogie for more reviews on insta!

We got grill octopus salad ( a bit salty but octopus is really soft and flavorful), Veal parmigiana ( veal is tender have tomato flavor but not too salty) and tiramisu is yummy. Only problem is this is a popular restaurant so table is very small, feel like I almost touch people in next table. Still very recommended the food.

A very nice Italian restaurant in Napa serving homey Italian foods in a beautiful setting. Service was very friendly. We tried what was recommended by the manager: the octopus salad, gnocchetti with a ground lamb sauce, and the veal parmigiana with fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was good. We could not stop eating them. There were not a lot octopus pieces in the salad. The price was on the higher side. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

Excellent food, beautiful presentation and attentive service.
Extensive, premium wine list with old work and new world wines.
Too loud. Difficult to hear and sometimes understand server’s words – his heavy accent & ambient noise
