Came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the meal! We ordered the soufflé, French onion soup, duck and fish.
Food and vibe would not feel out of place in France. Service is efficient but decor slightly dated which is part of the charm.

Nice quaint little French restaurant in Haberfield. Overall I was quite impressed by the service at this restaurant and loved the local less of the restaurant.
Menaged to get a variety of some dishes. Personally I really like the bourguignon along with the soup. Very strong onion flavour in that soup. However I did not really enjoy the duck lover parfait or the terrine, just couldn’t find why it didn’t appeal to me too much.
Plenty of street parking and easy to do reservation if needed. We went on a Thursday night and was pretty quiet there.

Quiet, cozy and intimate ambience- staff were all so lovely and the food was well flavoured and absolutely delicious! Doesn’t matter what you order, every mouthful was so worth its price for the portions you will get. We came here to celebrate my partners birthday with my family and had a very pleasant experience. We left very full and satisfied. Amazing work! Looking forward to dine here again soon.

10/10 rustic french food. Eye filet with garlic confit on top was sensational, will be dreaming about it. Duck liver parfait was the best I had in Sydney.

Our dinner was on a rainy Wednesday night which may explain why the restaurant was a little quiet. The overall quality of food was well above our expectations and the Barramundi was amazing. Dessert was also a highlight – the Tarte Tatin was delicious! The young lady who served us was friendly and polite. We will definitely visit again.

I can’t rave enough about the food, every morsel, every aroma a delite. A complementary serving of escargot to start made me regret not ordering the little devils. Craving a good steak I ordered the Grilled Eye Fillet, wow what a great decision. Tender medium rare and exceeded my hopes, the jus rich and complex, I suspect the pomme puree was more butter than potato but certainly no complaint here. The souffles were pillowy clouds and the Tarte Tatin delicious.
Once finished I seriously wanted to order it all again.
I can’t sign off without praising the servers who’s recommendations were informed and spot on.

A French restaurant in the middle of Italian town! The Belgian waiter was humorous and friendly, helped us with the menu. I am not really familiar with French food but I really enjoyed my experience.
Update: they are even better than before. Good service & food!
Update: Chateaubriand was to die for. Strongly recommend it.

One of the better French restauarants that is not in the CBD. Street parking only. Went there for mother’s day and they did not disappoint. A nice variety of dishes in the degustation menu. Very family friendly and service was excellent. Will come again to check out the normal menu!

After trying many “innovative restaurants”, I miss those classic recipes so much and financially find foods from Bistro Cocotte are soulful and tasty. Dishes are cooked proper and presentation is tidy and neat. Location is convenient and price is affordable. Thank you.
