A friend suggested I come here but I argued to go to another place down the street. When we discovered it was closed we came back to Bistro Bistro & I am sooo very happy we did. What a hidden jam of a French Bistro. Fresh baked breads and pastries. Organic and delicious greens and veggies & meals prepared with love and care make this a great place to visit for a something tasty and different.

Great place to have lunch or a snack in West Palm Beach. Located in one of the hippest places to go to in West Palm for art and shopping unique finds. The owner of this restaurant is a very nice and friendly. I felt I like I was at home. The quiche is spectacular and the lemon tart out of this world.

Don’t even know where to start. Food is absolutely out of this world, I’m completely addicted to their pastries, however their sandwiches and specials are stupid good as well.

5 Stars isn’t enough this place is amazing. Carol and Alain love what they do. The food is so fresh. Wine and Beer available. Great soup and sandwiches, baked goods. Atmosphere, cute little outdoor area too.

Amazing. This place is a treasure!!
I need to update this review – when I wrote it I was on a whirlwind trip with my family. Two kids & two grown up cranky kids. So I wanted to just make sure I got this review in as well as pictures.
Here is my full review. I do have to just put out there that I am extremely partial to small businesses and always prefer to spend my money there. At times I am that person that goes the 4 or 5 blocks just to do that if I can. Because I grew up in a place where there were so many small businesses – they knew everyone – you sometimes had credit and paid it at the end of the week. These small business shaped communities, shaped families and built memories.
So now with all that being said – i had a very terrible time in Florida. But going to the area where this beautiful establishment is and then having the experiences I did felt like a time warp in the most beautiful way possible.
There seemed to be “regulars” there. There was no rush on me as I looked over things.. While I spoke to the owner a person from the shop across came over to just ask for her regular.. Not to just cut in. The owner said no problem bring it over in myself once I am done. If you never grew up with neighbors or family.. Stuff like that could bother you – but it shouldn’t. This behaviour is what connects us. She wasn’t rude to me. She apologized. I also took alot of time with her(the owner). For a few reasons, years ago I called from states away wanting to do something for my brother – who moved there – their business does catering not small scale delievery(just fyi) she was beyond kind to me indulged me – hand delievered it!! My brother who is diabled talked about how that was the best birthday gift he ever recieved. She did the menu & helped with certain dietary restrictions. That is what I mean by community. So when I walked in that day years later. She remembered 30 secs into my explaining and we huged. I left there with bags of glorious food. Food again for my brother who is a disabled VET.for a few days and for myself. I would also like to mention – that she made a seperate plate for my son. Who has terrible life threatening allergies! She took great care talked to me & did not let me buy anything for him she said she could not confirm wasn’t cross contaminated. She made the plate of luxurious gazpacho & salad for my son for free.
That is community love – food expression of love. The highlight of my trip. The BEST part of my TRIP to FLORIDA. I wish that business all the LOVE LUCK SUCCESS & LIGHT THIS WORLD has to offer! If you are in Florida you would be remiss to not check out this gorgeous French palace. Along with it’s beautiful community!

Our family enjoyed such a delightful lunch at Bistro Bistro! The owner was incredibly attentive, gracious, and generous. We had slices of quiche – which were enormous – and a Cuban panini and homemade chicken soup. It was all delicious. The best quiche crust I’ve ever had! They also have an amazing array of French pastries – we tried the canelés, the financiers, and the pear ganache tart. To die for! And to boot, they have a small selection of cute home wares. We will be back!

Love this place. Cute little French bistro in the heart of historic northwood village. It smells so good in there and the owner is from France. Definitely a cool vibe and definitely worth checking out. The cappuccino and croissant are delicious.

An authentic and charming French bistro. To respond to the reviewer who said food prices are outrageous, they’re really not. Sure, $13 for a panini seems high but they are huge and served on really good homemade bread and served with either a salad consisting, among other things, of fresh haricots verts, Brussel sprouts and hearts of Palm or the soup du hour. The day we were there the soup was an excellent roasted garlic mushroom bisque.
Our sandwiches were so large neither my wife nor I could finish them and both had the second
halves for dinner that night.
Desserts are very reasonable. We order an almond financier from the pastry case to share. I expected the server to plop it on a plate and hand it to me over the counter but, no, she needed to take it into the kitchen and “make it pretty” (see photo). I had my half with some really fine espresso.
We loved this place and are sure to go back. My only complaint is they are open only from 9 to 4. It’d be great to go for dinner and I’d love to be able to stop by on my way to work.
Finally, after your meal, please be sure to check out the neighborhood’s many interesting and eclectic shops.
