Reviews
The food was good and was prepared precisely as requested. The portions were sized accordingly and the flavor was exponential.
I ordered a Ribeye , bone in, with a nice potato and asparagus. I also ordered a tasty beverage to wash it all down with. My date had the beef short rib, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The birthday girl had salmon and green beans and kicked it off with a house salad as did her husband who also opted for the pork chop, mashed potatoes and green beans.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and experience. I’ll most likely recommend Bistro 44 to friends and acquaintances and will most likely revisit this establishment again.
We started with a complimentary trio of dips (olive oil with garlic, butter, and olive tapenade) served with fresh bread, setting a promising tone for the meal. We opted for the prix fixe menu, priced around $45, which was exceptional in every course. Additionally, we tried the French onion soup—the best we’ve had—and the ahi bluefin tuna tartare, where the sauce was just as impressive as the dish itself.
Bistro 44 delivered a memorable dining experience with fantastic food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. Highly recommended!
The food was excellent as well, with a nice brunch menu and extensive choices for beer wine and cocktails.
For an appetizer we ordered the Thai chili calamari, which was a huge portion for two people. We also split the butternut squash salad which was light crisp and delicious, and oddly came out before the appetizer. For our main course, my lady ordered marinated skirt steak and I got the ribeye, which was approximately 16 oz even though it’s not mentioned on the menu. Both were cooked to perfection and both came with nice side dishes that were interchangeable with any side dish listed on the menu, which was very nice and accommodating. We didn’t get dessert because we were stuffed beyond belief but we did have a drink each. Total came to about 160 with tip but was worth it. I would definitely go back.
I may go back there if I’m around.
I still recommend it
