Just discovered this gem! We travel in from out of town and excited to add this to our favorite stops for dinner, drinks and live music. Loved the jazz/blues trio that was playing last night. I’m a harmonica player and blues musician and these guys were right on the money. The food was excellent as was the service. We were celebrating a birthday last night but this place is great for business meals, for date-nights, and for groups on a night out. Thanks Bistango! We’ll be back!

Over multiple trips here the food is just awesome! From a sandwich at lunch to dinner the flavor is just great! The service is super, our server remembered all our drink orders and that was for a party of 12. Definitely one of the finest restaurants in Orange County.

Rating is based on the service especially! It was impeccable. The staff were really helpful and nice. The food was not bad at all. I had the garden salad, parmesan risotto and white chocolate cheese cake.

I have been coming to bistango on and off since the mid 2000’s. The food is good but the management could use some lessons in customer service. I came in one day when it was not busy. I was the only one at the bar. There were no bartenders present. I sat there and waited. An older man who is probably the manager passed right by me and did not even say someone will be with you shortly. The bartenders are always very nice but management needs to be educated that you greet your patrons and you do not leave them sitting without service as you walk past them. Needless to say I got up and chose to spend my money elsewhere. Very rude. I wonder would this older man appreciate if he received the same service that he gave me that day. As the manager you represent the restaurant. I wonder if the top management knows that this is how their manager runs this restaurant.

The restaurant layout is interesting and as a result the ambient noise was lower than expected. Our server, Moses, was wonderful and fun and added to our excellent dining experience. I ordered the filet mignon, my wife ordered the gnocchi, both were prepared to perfection and delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
