We stumbled by accident into some Japanese cuisine in the ❤️ of Spring Hill QLD.

On arrival we were met by very courteous staff and shown to our table. The ambiance was lovely and the restaurant was nice and clean.

For entree we dined on vegetable spring rolls, followed by mains being chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, steamed rice, salad and miso soup.

Service was very efficient and table service impeccable.

Most importantly the food was outstanding! Plenty of it and it tasted divine. If you are looking for beautiful Japanese cuisine in Brisbane, this is the restaurant to visit. Thank you Bishamon staff for such a lovely meal

We had AYCE sukiyaki basic option. Meat quality was good. Very attentive staff. When you order more meat or vegetable, serving speed was not bad however, when you order individual vege, it took a time. Rice and egg are refillable as well.
Tables were not same height so butan stove and pan were tilted as it was located between two table (this was the only cons)
We would like tol comeback to try shabu shabu!

Absolutely one of my favourite Japanese restaurants
If you’ve been disappointed by non authentic ‘Japanese’ places, you need to try this one
The staff are Japanese and super kind, the interior feels just like Japan, and the food is amazing!
I’ve had both lunch and dinner here and everything was delicious and made with care
The lunch set comes with a tasty chicken broth instead of plain miso soup, and even the salad has tofu ? on top I especially love their tomato hamburger steak
They offer all you can eat sukiyaki and shabu shabu and all the dishes are fresh, flavorful, and well priced
Highly recommend this place, a true hidden gem ✨

My sister & I visited Bishamon for a shared dinner & thoroughly enjoyed the experience as we have also done at this restaurant on previous occasions. The mixed sashimi was so beautifully fresh & well presented as was the seaweed & avocado salad. All dishes are works of art with great attention to detail. Our waiter was extremely attentive & helpful & the service was very quick. The decor is subtle & understated with a welcoming, quiet & comfortable atmosphere.

Been twice but won’t go back anymore.
The worst part is passive aggressive service. They probably are understaffed for a place with 15 tables, but that’s not a reason for giving customers dirty looks when one tries to get their attention. What do you expect us to do when the sukiyaki sauce ran out? Let the food burn on the hotplate?
In addition, for a 4 person sukiyaki, they gave us a tiny table and expected us to move our plates and bowls all over the place to fit the meat and vegetables. There were bigger tables in the next room which was empty, it baffles me why they crammed everyone on this one table that can hardly fit everything.
Don’t bring a kid there, even our son who eats at plenty of restaurants and is well behaved gets treated like leper. Why don’t you put a sign up and tell us it’s not family friendly?
Otherwise, sukiyaki sauce too salty and could be provided in a more diluted way. Vegetables were not very fresh. Wagyu beef was reasonable quality.

We have to book a table in advance. It was super crowded Friday night, so ensure you arrive on time. We ordered a $47 per-person hot pot. We chose sukiyaki (sweet & salty flavour) for the soup base. It was lovely but tasty, and the staff suggested mixing it with water. You will get unlimited sliced wagyu beef, which is delicious and high-quality, and unlimited veggies, rice, and raw eggs. We enjoyed the experience a lot; the dining time was 90 minutes, enough for us to finish two trays of beef. We will definitely come again to try the other flavour as well.

Bishamon is always great place to go for dinner.
I am lucky cuz I live so close to Bishamon so I go quite often.
Their tempura is the best in Brisbane. But make sure if head chef works on that day. I tried when head chef was off, it was alright but was not as good as usual. Every single food is enjoyable.
Thanks Bishamon 🙂
