We were fortunate to have randomly chosen this place for breakfast. I don’t think it could of been any better elsewhere. The Bloody Mary was fancy and delicious. All our food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Try the loaded hash browns. They have a huge menu. Next time I’ll try the waffle flight! The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. Anytime we’re in this area again, we will be back to try more of there menu items.

Overall was okay, we got our food fairly quickly and the waitresses were nice, the food was great, but after giving it to us they didn’t come back and we waited for the check for like 20 minutes. Pretty pricey for very mediocre service. I would go again

i brought my mom in for a late breakfast when she was having a hard day. we were fortunate to be seated in eric’s section and he turned the entire day around for both of us. food was great, hospitality warm, and eric…well, we’ve been back because he’s just so great. thanks for being a place with great food and people!

Upon arrival we were greeted and Hostess was off, way ahead of us dropping menus at a booth before we could say anything. Had to yell to catch her before she was gone for a table. Were seated at a table with no silverware. Server was nice and got our drink order, still no silverware or water. Got our drinks and ordered food. Recieved food (server says she always checks back after two bites, dont remember her doing that but she did not check back on us for 20+ min). Biscuits were ok and we were starved. My sausage links were barely warm and burnt crispy on bottom, my wife’s chicken for her waffles was so overcooked that it was inedible. After waiting 10- 15 minutes after finishing food (not the chicken) we had to yell out to Hostess for check. Finally saw our server again. I let her know as an FYI the food issues. She informed me the time to tell her would’ve been when she checked back on us after 2 bites. Wasn’t looking for a refund, wasn’t looking for anything other than giving her an FYI. So apparently we should have let her know, before we actually tasted food or during the 20+ minutes we didn’t see her, or the 10 plus minutes we sat with empty beverages in a place that had three occupied tables including ours. We will not be back. This is not the first time for poor quality food and subpar service here. It will be our last. Plenty of other places in the area.

They serve a great deal of food for a reasonable price. Pretty expansive menu as well. Waitress was very nice and was asking us if we were good fairly rapidly at the start of the meal but we didn’t see her for awhile before the check. Overall positive experience.

I’ve only had breakfast at these restaurants, and it has always been fabulous. Big portions, old -school style, not all “Portlandie” and strange. Staff are always cheerful, place shines bright and is very clean. Similar to Black Bear Diner, for those who know.

My partner and I got the chicken and waffles which we were looking forward to. The chicken was good but has a hard crunchy exterior similar to catfish fry. Not much seasoning or flavor but cooked to perfection. My partners said the chicken was “meh”
The waffles were a bit of a let down. They were really dense, almost cake like or even possibly undercooked. Had nice buttery flavor but overall the waffle was a 5.5/10 for me. The staff brought our check and asked if we would like a box and explained I probably won’t take it home because I was disappointed with the waffle.
Our waiter was extremely kind and offered to bring something in place of the waffle and brought me French toast. Just for that fact I would rate this place even more based on their customer service. Overall I would rate the food a 7/10. But the service was a 10/10 Jeff was an amazing host! Would likely come back and try something else from their menu another time.
Side note:
Little busy and loud on Sunday morning as to be expected but had a slight headache so being by the kitchen and loud silverware clatter wasn’t helpful.
Also they offer gluten free waffles for an additional $2 which is nice that they have that option.

The pancake I put in my mouth at this fine dinings establishment was palatable. I would not say I would return to experience such a pancake again but I was not disappointed by the way the pancake made me feel. Leaving nothing but a whisper of a memory of its flavor on my mind I dare say that in a week I shall have forgotten its existence.

Found this place on line while looking for fun places to eat while in town. We shared Biscuits and gravy with sausage and red potatoes and it was delicious! Our server was very attentive and friendly. And the portions are huge!
