Biscuits and Buns is a great place to eat, but I recommend you make reservations or you could be waiting a while for seating. You will enter the restaurant through the kitchen, where you will see the chefs putting knees, elbows, and feet in that food!! ( expression of a great chef) Every bite was delicious and we devoured the shrimp, catfish and grits. The Signature Biscuits were absolutely amazing soft, buttery, and BIG!!! This was my first time but won’t be my last time!!!

Food was great! Gets crowded on weekends. They don’t honor reservations so not sure if it’s worth making one. Tables are small and it’s pretty tight inside. With all that being said, it was cool but not sure I would come back on a weekend

This is a small establishment with limited seating ,so best to get a table online. Super cute on the inside with great artwork on the walls.I ordered the catfish and grits with a side of turkey sausage. The catfish and grits were definitely good ,especially the catfish and how crispy and well seasoned it was.Definitely up to the standard HOWEVER, the turkey sausage i received was well over BURNT and the biscuit that came with the meal was also burnt at the bottom. Our server at first seemed like he was going to get things done but as the service went on it was terrible. If i ask you for the check why would you disappear for 10min and then skip our table to sit down and chat with a group?? I thought getting a refill of sweet tea would take 2 seconds but it took 5 min until i was just ready to go. When I was leaving the server refilled my tea BUT the tea that they poured in my cup was UNSWEET sweet tea in my cup and I instantly gagged. Their big back biscuit however definitely is the star of this place. Two biscuits that are covered in an orange creamy sauce with crawfish bites on top. I would definitely come back for those biscuits.

Found this place on Google. Just looking for some breakfast on a Sunday early afternoon.

I don’t actually know about the atmosphere because there was a 30 minute wait to be seated so we placed an order to-go.

It took 30 minutes to get the to-go order. The food looked very appetizing. The waffle sandwich was lukewarm and the grits were not seasoned. The sausage was overcooked.

The omelette was good with fresh vegetables but it too was not hot.

The fresh fruit was sweet and juicy and the catfish po-boy was very hot and seasoned well.

I guess it depends on what you order. I just think the breakfast food would have been better if it was hot.

I also think it was expensive for the amount of food received.

Soulja Slim omelette and the waffle sandwich sub pancakes broken down separately (eggs, protein). Shoutout to our server for suggesting that. The sandwich also came with grits. We had the crawfish boudin balls as well. Good food, with a friendly staff.

Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere. Totally unique setup in what I’m assuming was an old house. You walk in thru the kitchen area to a cool little dining area with a great vibe. Food was amazing. I had the shrimp and catfish and grits with etoufee gravy over my biscuit. Better than I expected it to be. Will 100% be back again.

Black owned! We picked up our food to go and ate in the car so I didn’t get to see inside but I was told there was limited seating. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her food and I wish I would’ve ordered something different than my regular bacon, egg and cheese because I definitely didn’t get the full experience this place has to offer!

The place itself was really nice. The drinks was good. I order the chicken and waffle great presentation but my waffle wasn’t cook all the way thur, the chicken seem like it had been cook a second time to serve it hot. Overall I’ll give this place an 8 out of 10 the swap omelet was amazing

We had the big Belgian waffle sandwiches with thick slices of bacon eggs with cheese and side of really good creamy grits. The sandwich was not worth $20 because the waffle was horrible and taste like it was made a box mix that you add water. The syrup was Smucker little cups that you get at fast food restaurants. Our server was friendly and attentive. They really good music but it was too loud for brunch and made it hard to talk. The walls are covered with fun and interesting art. The seating is tight and it feels like they packed us in. My overall impression is the place gets a lot of hype but didn’t live up to it. I’m not sure that I would go back because there’s nothing special about the experience.

Stopped in here for Sunday brunch. Menu is fair sized with diverse options. Large portions for some food that we saw being brought out, but for what I personally ate, the portion was perfect!

I got the avocado toast which is not really what they’re known for, but as a vegetarian, it was one of a handful of options, and I thought it was good. The french bread was unique. I wish the presentation was a little better (there was spinach underneath of the toast, for example, that I had to put on top of it myself). The toppings were kind of sparse but it was still tasty. I also had to pay extra for the egg, but I thought I would just get one— getting two was a nice surprise since it was $3 extra. I’m sure if I had gotten the Creole breakfast items, it would have been better.

Relatively fast service for New Orleans, and the servers were friendly. Tight quarters and very true-diner style but admittedly on the pricier side for that experience.
