Will not be returning. I ordered a biscuit with pork sausage gravy, crispy bacon, a fruit cup and a Carmoolita Latte for $29.73. The biscuit was great. The gravy was nothing like homemade southern sausage gravy. It was spicy and had an orange tint to it. The bacon smelled and tasted like pork rinds. The latte was hot but had absolutely no flavor at all. I tasted everything but only ate the fruit cup and drank the latte so I pretty much paid $30 for a tasteless coffee and a cup of fruit.

Great food and awesome options for those who don’t eat meat. We did the biscuits with vegetarian sausage gravy. We also tried the southern scramble and made our own full breakfast that included the pimento cheese grits and fried green tomatoes. All fresh and made to order.

We were really excited to try this place but to sum up the meal, we would’ve rather spent $10 on McDonald’s and had better food that this. The presentation of the food was good, but the chicken on the Filthy Animal biscuit was severely undercooked. It looked raw so my boyfriend couldn’t eat it. The bacon also was super greasy and fatty, and was very chewy. The biscuit itself was so crumbly, with no flavor, and just turned into a nasty mush on my Asheville Benedict plate. The spring salad mix with the red sauce on top made it edible. I did like the smoked tomato cream cheese but there wasn’t a lot of that. The workers themselves were very nice and the orange juice was good, but jam bar was disgusting. The biscuits need a lot of work and the staff need to do a better job of keeping shared spaces clean. Unfortunately this wasn’t the stop for us, but it seems like other people in the reviews like it so it’s worth a try.

Food is ALWAYS excellent. The biscuits are huge, soft and fluffy, and delicious. The maple bacon latte was over the top, but yummy. Don’t skip the jams

This is definitely one of the best brunch spots in town. The food is great- specifically, the “S’mores Bacon” is probably the best bacon I’ve ever had (they only serve it on certain days, though). Also, the “Cat Scratch” hot sauce was so good that I bought a bottle for home!

I’m not from around here, but whenever I am passing through or visiting we make it a point to get to Biscuit Head. I am proud to say I have now been to all 4 locations. This was the most recent. Even though we arrived close to closing time, just off the plane, the employees served us with such hospitality! The manager said to take our time and enjoy. The food was as good as ever. Biscuit french toast and biscuit donuts for me, Pulled pork biscuit for my husband. He said it was fantastic. I absolutely love all the different jams available and the coffee! We tell everyone about this place and can’t wait to get back! Love it so much I will order a t-shirt. It is a highlight of all our trips to Asheville. Thank you guys, again!

Food was delicious. We stopped by close to closing time on a Sunday afternoon and there looked to be a line to get in so we ordered take out and just got it to go. The flow is a little clunky but the service was good overall and the food was great! Loved the jam bar!

Delicious coffee and delicious food. this is a counter service restaurant meeting. You are not served at the table however, they do bring the food to your table. they give out free stickers and have a jam bar. lots of dietary restriction accommodations. The Nutella banana biscuit was one of the greatest things I’ve ever eaten. very delicious coffee. Very nice staff. very clean restaurant, but the jam and condiment bar is a little nasty during busy hours. Definitely 10 out of 10 would eat again.

was in town for a business trip, and had a local recommend this as a spot to come for brunch before we headed home. It was a little crowded when we got here, but the line moved fairly quickly, and the food was absolutely amazing, And all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I got the filthy animal along with a Kentucky bourbon, coffee, or something like that, and she got the Fried green tomato biscuit and a donuts and cream latte.
Looking forward to our next trip out here to try a few other things on the menu.

My husband and I stopped in for a somewhat late breakfast. We are not from the area so we were unfamiliar with Biscuit Head. We had a delicious experience and will definitely stop again when we are in the area. The food was fresh and expertly prepared. I ordered the Southern Scramble and coffee and my husband ordered the Full Breakfast. Our entrees were generous and the biscuits we received were outstanding. This was a great experience for us!
