I had a very unpleasant experience at Biryani Barbeque, St. Louis. While eating, I found a dead insect directly in my food on the plate, which is completely unacceptable and a serious health and hygiene concern. I immediately lost my appetite.
What made the situation worse was the front desk staff’s rude behavior. When I reported the issue, the response was unprofessional and dismissive, with no proper apology or concern shown.
On top of that, the ambience and overall service quality were poor, which added to the disappointment.
This experience shows a lack of basic cleanliness, customer care, and service standards. I strongly hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food safety practices and staff training. Until then, I would not recommend this place.

I am extremely disappointed with both the food quality and the very rude behavior I experienced. I found hair in my food, and this is not the first time it has happened. When I contacted the restaurant to report the issue, the staff member was very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, she asked me to come to the restaurant to return the order and said she would “look into it.”
If I had the ability to go there, I would not have ordered through DoorDash. The way this situation was handled was unacceptable. Finding hair in food is already a serious hygiene concern, but the rude and disrespectful response made the experience even worse. I expect this matter to be properly addressed.

Never expected a bonda could turn out this perfect! After such a long time, I finally enjoyed a whole bonda—crispy outside and soft inside. Paired with chutney, it was pure delight for my taste buds. Honestly, it felt like a mini celebration for breakfast. Loved it and would 100% recommend!!!!

“I have been a loyal customer of Biryani BBQ for two years and have always given them 5 stars for food and service. However, today was a huge disappointment. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice with a ‘normal’ spicy level over the phone, but what I received was inedible. The food was literally bright red and so incredibly hot that I couldn’t even eat it. There is a big difference between adding extra spice and dumping a whole container of chili powder into the dish. I’m very disappointed and left hungry. I love this place, but I hope they don’t repeat this mistake.”

We ordered multiple items, and one of them — Gongura Biryani — was particularly bad. It lacked basic seasoning, especially salt, and tasted nothing like what you’d expect from a Telugu-style dish. We raised our concern with the staff and waited another 30 minutes for a replacement, but the second serving was just as bad.
Given that Gongura is a signature ingredient in Telugu cuisine, it was disheartening to see it so poorly prepared. The dish was untouched, yet we were still charged the full amount of $71. We paid without argument, but left extremely dissatisfied.
If you’re looking for authentic Telugu flavors, this place might not be the right choice.

Service is PERFECT, Food is PERFECT, and the restaurant space is well kept and comfortable and welcoming. I love the menu items, I have ordered the butter chicken, Biryani 555, and definitely looking forward to trying more items from their menu. For desserts, I always get the Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. Definitely recommend, food is so delicious and so abundant ! The team is always professional and friendly.

One of the worst restaurants i have ever visited. First, their service is bad. We waited more than 15 min to come to us even the restaurant was empty. Second, they did not offer water when they came to take order. Instead, I had to ask 3/4 times. No greetings. No spoon, fork with order, had to ask a couple of times. The food was too spicy. All of us got stomach burn, stomack pain after we ate the food. I do not recommend people to go to this restaurant.
