Had a nice meal. It was very quiet there on a weeknight at 6pm. It looks like most customers get their food at the drive through. The food was very good. Authentic Jalisco dishes like tortas ahogadas and birria made of chivo (goats meat). Their red salsa was nice and spicy. Happy hour is oddly from 2 to 4pm. They do serve tacos for $1 on Tuesday! Finally, their jericalla dessert was a pleasant treat.

I’ve tried the Quesabirria tacos here months ago and they are good. but I went for Pastor tortas and asada tacos and they were not good at all. The meats look the same with different flavors but they did Not taste like Real Asada or Pastor

Stopped by this morning unplanned but decided to give it a try, unfortunately my eggs weren’t cooked the way I ordered them and honestly my food didn’t look appetizing at all, we waited so long for our food even though the restaurant was empty. Tortillas were very delicious though that was a plus after not being able to stomach the rest of my food.

Food is tasty and has good portions, I had the goat birria in broth which was great and flavorful, we also tried the “torta ahogada” and it was good too! Definitely going back!

WOW !!! This the first word I thought of after finishing these Tostadas. The Birrieria Jalisco is located in the Le Gran Plaza at Fort Worth. I stopped in for lunch and walked around the food court. This is not your standard mall food court. The signs in the mall are entirely un Spanish. And about 96% of the food court consists of Mexican restaurants. There is an Auntie Anne’s if you would like American fare.
I chose this place out of the group because I wanted a Tostada and this was the first that had it listed on their menu. The staff had very little English language skills, which matches my very little Spanish language skills.
It took a few attempts but I was mostly able to order what I wanted. I was attempting two ground beef Tostadas with a side of beans. I got two beef steak Tostadas without a side of beans. Purely a language barrier.
The Tostadas were the best I’ve ever eaten…..hands down. The guac was very fresh as was the rest of the toppings. I will definitely put this as a must stop when I’m in the area. I cannot speak to the rest of the menu but I wouldn’t hesitate to explore.

Good looking spot, clean and well lit. Small parking lot. Handicap accessible. Waitress was very attentive. Food was warm but bland, no flavor at all. Salsas was a little off too, almost like it had too much dry spices in it. The chips were not cooked long enough or starting to go stale.
