I’m always on the hunt for the best Taco Tuesday deals, so when I saw this place offering $1 tacos, I had to check it out! The food itself was okay, but the service really needs improvement; the attitude and shady behavior of the staff made me never want to come back, even with such a good deal.
When we walked in, I stopped at the front to ask about their specials to confirm they were still active. The lady told me all meat options were included, then told us to grab a seat. They brought out chips and salsa, which were really good, but the portion of chips was tiny. We skimmed the menu quickly and were ready to order.
When the waitress came back, we asked for more chips. She agreed and brought another small basket without mentioning any extra charge. On our third request, while still waiting for food, she suddenly told us chips would cost extra. I thought, okay, maybe after two baskets that makes sense, but it should’ve been clear from the start.
We ordered our tacos, but during that process she told us lengua wasn’t part of the special and would be $3.09 per taco. That confused me, since I had asked earlier and was told all meats were included. I declined the lengua because I didn’t want to pay $3+ for a small taco. Food took a while but came in decent portions. However, they still brought out a lengua taco, even though I had specifically declined it. She took my plate back to the kitchen to remove it. Some of the meats tasted a bit grimy, but I was trying cuts that were new to me. My favorites were the beef birria and tripa, they were delicious! That said, eating the meat on its own was VERY salty.
When we went up to pay, they charged us $4.50 for extra chips. At this point, I was already irritated with their lack of communication and service. My friend paid, but when I noticed they also charged for the lengua taco that had been returned, I was FURIOUS. I walked back to demand a refund. All the staff knew that taco was taken back, so why would they try to charge us for it? She apologized and said they “forgot”… but there were only three tables in the restaurant. How do you forget to check the total before charging customers?
We didn’t notice it at the register because it was a Square terminal, which only shows the total and doesn’t let you scroll through line items. Later, I read other reviews and realized many people had similar experiences. The tacos themselves are fine, and I would have enjoyed the meal if the staff hadn’t acted like scammers. Just beware before you go.

This place came highly recommended, the number question is the goat good and have an after taste. Yes and no….great taste and not much after taste. The consome was also flavorful and I’ll be back service was also good.

Everything was delicious, the quesabirrias, fresh made churros, the aguas frescas!!!

Food is tasty. I guess just had a bad experience with this place. They up charge you. Their to go menu prices somehow are higher by the time you get to the window, and if you ask them about it they will tell you “we just haven’t updated those yet”. Poor ethic. Thats all. I’m going to pass next time, lots of good birria places.

Food was tasty. Salsa Roja recipe is xxxx heat. Going to another restraunt to see if it was just this location or a chain thing. I like spicy. There was something “special” about the red sauce. Consume con Birria cooled down while I was waiting to taste again. Would have docked them a star…..but it is HOT sauce after all.

Good food. Really good tacos. I’ve been a few times and would come back. Taco Tuesday is the best time for a deal on the tacos (a bit over $1 ). Lunch can get busy. The employees were nice and the restaurant was clean. Love that they have a drive through.

Carne asada fries are ah-ma-zing! Staff is super friendly, came on Tuesday $1 tacos and they offer a tasty variety. My kids like the birria pizza. Everything we have had is good.

We were on the prowl for some Birria tacos, and this place did not disappoint! We ordered a few of their specials…Borrego and Lengua Quesa Birrias, Flautas and tiny Lengua street tacos.
Giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because of the sparse selection of drinks. We want to eat our calories, not drink em.
Sides and condiments were good, refried beans tasted ok. The salsa verde was the bomb! The dipping bowl for the Birria was yum too.
Would definitely come back, but would opt for takeout instead. Not the place for a party or noisy get-together though.

Best birria tacos thus far! WOW so good! Consome is so good! . We go their special 3 quesabirria tacos and a small consome for $7.50 I think. I ordered 2 extra al pastor and my husband 2 extra regular birria. Al pastor ain’t all that. I don’t think I would order them again. But yes on their quesabirria. We went on Taco Tuesday $1 all tacos (except the quesabirria). It’s worth the drive! (We don’t live in the area). 5 ⭐

We love to come here for the Quesabirria Taco Plate and the the Quesabirria Quesadilla de Birria. The grilled onions and the Console are chefs kiss. Tasty churros and yummy flan. Something for everyone!
