We absolutely love Birdseye Kitchen! The imperial rolls are some of the best around — crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken pho is a must-try; the broth is rich and comforting, and the portions are generous. Every time we visit, the service is excellent — friendly, attentive, and fast. The restaurant has a warm and relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for both lunch and dinner. Definitely one of our favorite local spots, and we can’t wait to come back!

SO good – the pad thai is something I dream about & crave constantly. It takes 1.5 hours for your order to be ready for pickup on average – sometimes I wait up to 2 lol. Would recommend ordering right at 5 pm when they open if you want it before 7. Super nice people though!

We’ve been to birdseye twice now. The food is okay – not very authentic considering they are group Thai, Laos, and Vietnamese food together. That would be like having a French, English and Italian restaurant altogether. Our mango sticky rice tonight tasted like the sticky rice was microwaved. The service is not great. Our servers often seem like they don’t need our business. We won’t come back considering the better options in the same area.

Extremely disappointing experience — especially from the owner.

My husband and I came to this restaurant tonight with our baby. We’ve been regulars for a while, and while the food has usually been good, tonight was truly unacceptable from start to finish.

We were seated at 5:10 p.m. and waited 20 minutes before anyone even greeted us or brought water. When our server finally came, we ordered right away — the same three dishes we always get which are two drunken noodles with beef and one yellow curry with beef. Unfortunately, it took an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, everything looked and tasted off.

Both drunken noodle dishes were shredded into tiny pieces like someone had chewed and spat them out. They were missing the usual vegetables and were cold in some areas. The yellow curry with beef looked even worse — the beef was grey, chewy, and had an odd taste. Even the rice was dry and hard.

We politely showed our server the food and asked if we could speak to the manager — not to get a free meal, but simply to share feedback as regulars who care. The server came back and said only the owner was available, but that she didn’t want to talk to us. That was shocking enough, but then right at that moment the owner stormed out of the kitchen, came straight to our table without introducing herself, and started grabbing our plates — even taking one out of my husband’s hands mid-bite.

She said, “I heard you didn’t like the food, so I’m taking your plates.”
We repeatedly told both the server and her that we did not want anything comped — we only wanted to share our experience. Instead, the owner began raising her voice at us in front of our baby and other customers, yelling, “You don’t like the food, I don’t know what you want me to do about it. You don’t have to pay, but I’m taking the food.”

This is not how any business — especially a restaurant — should treat its customers. We’ve worked in the restaurant industry and fully understand that mistakes happen, especially when busy. But what matters is how management handles it, and this owner’s behavior was downright hostile and disrespectful.

There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, and absolutely no professionalism. I genuinely feel bad for the staff who have to work under such leadership.

Sadly, we won’t be returning, and I hope the owner reconsiders how she treats loyal customers who simply care enough to give honest feedback.

Birdseye is predictably unpredictable… the food generally tastes great but you order will be wrong every time. It’s like a mystery but when you have food allergies it’s probably not worth the risk… my family love this place so we eat there often and rarely if ever eat what we ordered how we order it!

Too bad too the restaurant has potential to be truly great but the disconnect is the service! In closing todays experience was a burnt bbq skewer broken of in my drunken noodles and we got shorted on rice every damn time we eat there and today was no different, we end up having to make our own rice because no one wants to go back to complain! Probably the last time we will eat here at my insistence! I’m just done!

Food was really good! We ordered the salmon with broccoli, marinated olives and a delicious salad. The fish was seasoned so well and it tasted very fresh! Salad was very crisp and had a good flavor. We had a beautiful view of the ocean while we were eating our meal! Our server was very nice and was able to assist with our food sensitivity to dairy. So, the chef was able to delete butter and used oil instead to prepare our meal. They were very accommodating; which we appreciated very much!

Pretty nice. Been here twice. They clearly have some good talent in the kitchen. Food was not perfect, yet was fast flavorful and interesting. Pictures is the Tom Yum shrimp. Come here often still. Upping review to 5 stars. This is probably the best place in town.

Fun decor and vibe. Really nice servers. The stir fry I ordered was more like a curry, soaked in an overwhelmingly salty sauce. The grass fed beef however was still tender and veggies fresh.

Absolutely outstanding – best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. Noodles had that elusive awesome wok hay flavor (I know that’s a Chinese concept but not sure how to describe the Thai equivalent). Our server was super friendly and efficient- food came out lightning fast. We ordered the fried eggplant, the basil stir fry with beef, and the Chow Fun with tofu. Only wish we had more people in our party so we could try more things.
