The chicken quality was excellent. It’s definitely spicy Even the mild has a little zip with tons of flavor. I wish the pickles were dill style instead of sweet. The spice had me wondering if it’s chemically enhanced spice, or just from peppers and herbs. I should’ve asked to see ingredients list. The service was amazing. Kind and efficient. Thank you.

Ordered from door dash…Fries were crispy on the outside perfect Inside, good flavor. Chicken was also perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside very flavorful. The birdie sauce was excellent as well. Fried Oreos all very good, not very crispy on the outside but that was because it was delivered and in a covering so overall everything was excellent. We just had Noah’s BBQ the day before in SSP and the owner said he and his wife owned this joint in my city so I told him seeing how good his BBQ joint was we would def check it out. Excellent food at both joints well done y’all.

Asked a friend for a food suggestion, now here I am! Im excited to find another place with a loaded fry that I like. The flavor is so different here. I got the load chicken fries. Mild, lowest you can go besides no spice. Looks like two different sauces on the fries, birdie sauce and a cheese sauce. It wasn’t really spicy, but had a slight tingle to my tongue. I would suggest an extra piece of chicken or 2. I also got the Mac and cheese, that had a little more kick to it. Its a very wet mac and cheese. It wasnt bad but not my favorite. Last thing I got was corn bread. It was kind of a small piece for $1.50. It was very moist and delicious though. For got a picture of that. Gave it all a taste when I got it and then drove about 20 minutes home. The fries were still fairly crispy, or just hold well. I usually wont get fries because they get soggy. I will definitely be back. I would like a plain chicken with the birdie sauce to really give the sauce a try. Maybe go up a level on the fries. Just under $19 for all 3 items. Maybe waited 5 minutes for the food if that. Also it does say halal on the window if anyone wants to know.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating the food from Birdie’s in New Bedford 3 times now, and all 3 times the food has been phenomenal. The chicken was always fresh, hot, and juicy. It as well as the fries were seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. The slaw and pickles nestled underneath the tender on my sandwiches were summertime fresh. I also find the sauce to be very tasty. The young woman working the counter every time I’ve gone was also very friendly, polite, and professional. If I had to nitpick anything that could potentially be an improvement, I would love to see the option for fountain soda installed someday with free refills included. I’d gladly pay more for that over purchasing individual cans of soda with my meal since I’m more of a dine-in over order to go person. Definitely going to continue ordering from this establishment and recommending it to friends and co-workers looking for good fried chicken locally.

Heard this is the best chicken around. I’m a believer! Ordered the chicken and waffles with mac n cheese instead of fries and the salad with chicken tenders. Absolutely delicious and flavorful chicken. Medium was hot for our tastebuds, but not over the top. We were still able to enjoy the amazing flavors of the spices. Love how the chicken tenders are crispy, juicy and not overly breaded. The salad was freshly made (not from a pre-made salad bowl – like the ones at some convenience stores or markets) and had a good amount of chicken that was sliced and topped with Birdie’s sauce with some on the side. The chicken and waffles – happy to see there was more chicken than waffles. The mac n cheese was delicious and helped calm down some of the heat. Restaurant is small and clean, parking lot is well lit. The young miss who took my order was very pleasant and friendly. We will be back!

What are they coating the chicken with?? Very unusual,I’ve never had anything like this. It’s a bad kind of sweet, not hot,like the name suggests. They seemed to have a lot of business for the grand opening, but the parking lot has since been empty. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t suggest this to anyone. I can’t even describe the taste but one bite was enough to never return

Tried Birdies Hot Chicken for the first time. Went with the tender and slider combo with regular crinkle fries. I thought the combo was great. Went with medium heat on the chicken. Definitely had a good enjoyable kick. Enjoyed both. The slider comes with Cole slaw. If you’re in doubt go with the combo. The house sauce is good as well. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Moist and good crunch.

Birdies does chicken right. If you get a slider / tender combo you’re looking at 2 meals. If you’re sensitive to spice, just know that even the mild will make your lips burn. Both the sauces and the rub they put on the chicken is phenomenal. The chicken is super juicy, plump, and perfectly crispy. Best of all is the prices. Extremely cheap for the amount of food in each combo.
