Food was very good. Buffalo burger done well and tasty (but couldn’t tell it wasn’t cow). Trout was good, maybe a tad salty. Mushroom burger juicy and flavorful along with the potatoes fries. Bred pudding had a slight liquor flavor which was unique and good.

Stopped here after exploring Rocky Mountain Nation Park. I love the restaurants in Edtes Park, and this one did not disappoint. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the macaroni and cheese were really good!! Do not forget the sweet potato rounds!! I loved the artwork right I side the door. It was the first picture i shared! Hope you like it too!!

You’ve heard how good the food is and I’ll agree it’s all correct. Get the bone marrow to start, it’s delicious. My wife and I split the carnivore, the elk was cooked perfectly. The pork chop was thin but also delicious. We added the asparagus and I’ll say it was the most surprising dish, whatever sauce they use is great. For dessert we went with bread pudding and you should make sure you save room for some.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Bird & Jin! We went for his birthday and also received a complementary dessert. I wanted to post a review because this is the BEST food I’ve ever had in my life! Both of us were speechless after eating “the carnivore”. Everything on the plate was so intentional and balanced. It felt like we were eating Art! We are so thankful to have had this experience. It was wonderful and we can’t wait to come again.

The actual dining experience was fine. Cozy ambience. Views of elk across the road. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive. Wasn’t blown away by the food. Homemade potato chips were probably our favorite dish of the meal. Buffalo burger was ok; I don’t remember anything about it. The main issue was the ricotta tortellini, which was under-seasoned and troubled my partner’s stomach all night.

Relaxed and casual with a creative menu and great wine program. Great location way from the heart of downtown close to the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful views. Food was excellent. Service professional yet warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

This is one our favorite spots in Estes Park, definitely top 3 if not the best restaurant. The food is pricier but done well and most of the dishes are spot on. Pheasant chowder and cornbread are always good. The service is typically attentive but not overly so that you can have a relaxed dinner experience. Many nights you might need a reservation for a bigger party but could squeeze into the bar or the informal seating.

Bird & Jim has a very nice and pleasant atmosphere. Our waiter was very nice and helped us with understanding the menu. When I ordered my burger I just expected it to be okay. However, it was quite possibly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. We ended up getting the chocolate sponge cake with pistachio ice cream as well. DELICIOUS! If you’re ever in the area, I strongly suggest going to Bird & Jim.

This place was a great surprise! The décor was interesting, the menu was not to large, but eclectic, thoughtful and offered plenty of choice. The story behind the restaurant is as charming as the venue itself. Our server knew the menu well and the kitchen food runners added to the enjoyment. I ordered all sides (Elk tenderloin, Asparagus and Broccoli) and was delighted. The veg extended to a separate meal later. My wife had the Kale salad which was huge (2 meals) and delicious. Not over dressed it held up well for leftover lunch.
