enough is enough. i don’t even know what this place is anymore. the new commander and his wife make up the rules as they go along, and only follow them when it suits them. i heard from more than a few members say that they were trying to get other bartenders fired so she could have the manager job. my friend was fired for something they did when they weren’t even working. how does that make any sense? but the bigger problem isn’t just the playing favorites, it’s the double standards. i’ve seen the commanders wife doing shots behind the bar. i’ve seen the commander take over serving even after he’s already had a few drinks himself. and all while this is happening, this place keeps serving people until they can’t even stand up. i’ve watched it happen. it’s dangerous, it’s irresponsible, and frankly, it’s against the law. but what really gets me is that most of us just walk away. we mutter about it in the parking lot, or complain over beer elsewhere, but we don’t actually speak up. the swearing at the legion has gotten out of hand. the rules say no cursing but nobody follows it, not even the commander and his wife. its disrespectful to the members and shows no leadership. this needs to be said. i was told the commander posts online making fun of anyone who tries to hold him accountable. he tells people to try harder when they point out problems. its unbelievable leadership. instead of listening to members concerns, he mocks them publicly. is this really who we want running our legion? its shameful and childish.

This establishment fosters an environment that is, regrettably, both racist and homophobic. It’s deeply troubling that my previous review was removed, an act that raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. Anyone who has spent time here is well aware of the presence of individuals who engage in offensive language, perpetuate racism, and express homophobic views. While there appears to be some effort underway to address the behavior of these problematic individuals, the reality is that, until meaningful change occurs, my review deserves to remain visible. I will continue to repost it each time it is taken down. Silencing criticism does not resolve the issues, it only highlights them further. If negative reviews are unwelcome, then I urge the the commander to address the underlying problems. Should genuine improvements be made, I will gladly revise my review to reflect that progress.
