I have heard so much hype about this restaurant/bar. It was not what I expected. It is a typical college restaurant/bar with the typical college bar food. Most of our party ate the different varieties of cheese fries and they loved it. They were either short staffed or servers not as attentive as they should be. Food is good but not great. Drinks are okay. We could come here again.

Very popular place in Starkville—your basic bar food menu. Building and patio are old and run down—probably going for the rustic charm. To be honest, the food was pretty average—not bad, nothing special. I had the recommended buffalo chicken cheese fries. Again, they were good but not great. Our server was really good, and I would eat there again, but it is not at the top of my list.

The service is top notch. Not what I expected from a college bar, although this isn’t a typical college bar. The food is excellent and prepared, plated, and served hot. While there could be a bit more cleaning the number of people that are served may make that difficult. Definitely worth your time! Especially if you are hungry. The prices are reasonable as well.

we enjoyed the margarita special – $2 a cup after 6 pm. we liked our food okay, my boyfriend got chicken nachos and i got 2 veggie tacos. I was charged 1.50 to add extra tomatoes to two tacos, our server was good though

The menu is limited but the food is good. The outdoor seating area accommodates both small and large parties. Pets are allowed in the outdoor seating area. Their margaritas were a little watered down. The waitstaff was friendly, but several nearby tables waited at least 30 minutes to place their order. While there is no kids’ menu, it seemed family friendly. Our kids enjoyed the cookie cooked in a skillet.
