Fantastic cocktails (the Manhattan and the pencilling were particularly nice) and delicious food. The menu rotates seasonally, but we both got the osso bucco and it was tender and delicious! Our waiter Obie was very attentive and especially helpful!

WOW. We had a fantastic dinner at Bimi’s Canteen on a Sunday night with some new friends, and it absolutely blew us away. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, but the real hidden gem is the Grotto Bar — a must-visit.
Food-wise, everything was incredible. The bread and butter were hearty and delicious, and the bolognese was outstanding — wonderful red sauce, perfectly seasoned beef, and house-made noodles that were just perfection. For dessert, the chocolate cake was a showstopper: rich, decadent, and flourless — absolutely heavenly.
The cocktails were equally impressive. As the sober driver, I tried the non-alcoholic Bee’s Knees and honestly, I’d order it again over the traditional version — it was that good.
Lovely place, great chef, fantastic drinks — Bimi’s is a true gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing from start to finish! The service was warm and accommodating, food was out of this world (had the country chicken and pork schnitzel) and the drinks were fantastic. Definitely recommend the midnight train! On the pricier side but for a night out, worth every penny.

I have appreciated Bimi’s cheese shop since it opened. I had dinner at the restaurant with friends for the first time and was really impressed by the quality of this place. The atmosphere is warm with a service oriented upbeat staff. There was room for private conversation. The food was exceptional including salad, entree, and desert. We didn’t drink but there is a very cool bar downstairs. This is a high end place, a real treat.

We had a fantastic night! The drinks were expertly crafted, well appointed bar and the service was warm, friendly and thoughtful. Culinary highlights included the delicious gem salad, the perfectly cooked whole grilled fish, duck breast with cherry jus, and my favorite, the tender osso buco on creamy polenta. While the upstairs is nice, the downstairs “speakeasy” cave is one of a kind—cozy and atmospheric with its stone walls and cool lighting. Whether for cocktails or a full dinner, this was a great find!

Everything was fantastic from the atmosphere to the cocktails to the food. We didn’t have a reservation but we were seated at the bar quickly. The service was a little slow but watching the bartender and the passion he has was an experience in itself so it helped with the wait. The food was fantastic. My only complaint was we got the tomato salad and it was supposed to come with a crispy waffle and it didn’t. When we asked they said sometimes they run out. That’s ok but it could have been substituted with bread maybe. Either way, it was delicious. And the macaroni gratin was incredible!

I recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. It has a fascinating interior with many creative touches unlike any other restaurant in the area. The service is very friendly and enjoyable. The food is well portioned and very high quality. I think they have some of the best cocktails around. The parking is easy in the quaint little town.

We had the world slate, smash burger with shoestring fries, coq au vin, and pork chop with buckwheat spaetzle and red cabbage. We appreciated that the dishes were prepared carefully and not laden with butter. It was all delicious except for the strangely unappetizing cheese plate, which contained about 1 ounce of cold, boring cheese and was not appropriate for sharing. Nice rustic dining room with leather placemats and lovely cloth napkins. Friendly and helpful service.
