We had the most incredible birthday dinner and I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff made the evening feel special and truly went above and beyond to make my birthday memorable.

We ordered the duck and the elk, and both dishes were absolutely perfect. The duck was cooked beautifully with crisp skin and rich, flavorful meat, while the elk was tender, perfectly prepared, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite felt thoughtfully crafted and elevated without being overwhelming. It was one of those meals you keep talking about long after you leave.

The service was just as impressive as the food—attentive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had an amazing experience. They paid attention to every detail and made the celebration feel effortless and special.

The Dining Room was an incredible experience with the most outstanding food for us.
We loved our French Waiter, Ben, who made the night very enjoyable and snuck us extra bread rolls.
The Crab, Elk and Raspberry dessert was the best meal we had had for a long time. Would love to come back again to visit.

Restaurant beautiful, service wonderful, and food amazing!! It is worth the price! We got the she crab soup as an appetizer, and it was amazing! As an entrée, my husband got the fillet and lobster tail, and I got the black Seabass, and it was all incredible!! We will definitely be back!!

Dining at the Fine Dining Room at Biltmore Estate is more than just a meal, it’s a full experience that makes you feel like royalty from the moment you walk in. The elegance of the building sets the tone immediately, and don’t miss the stunning walk down their majestic staircase. it’s truly something special.
At the host stand, Clare greeted us with warmth and attentiveness, setting the stage for what would be an unforgettable evening. We were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the sunset, the perfect backdrop for such a luxurious dinner.
Our server, Allan, was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every single item on the menu and offered spot-on wine pairings that elevated the meal to another level. His attention to detail and passion for the food really enhanced the experience.
To start, I had the She Crab Bisque: creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. The Burrata was another highlight: paired with peaches and strawberries, it offered a delightful balance of sweet and savory that was simply exceptional.
For the main course, I chose the Cioppino, a seafood dish that delivered an explosion of fresh, vibrant flavors in every bite. Before our meal officially began, we were treated to a short rib croquette as an amuse-bouche, a perfect, savory bite that set the tone for the evening.
We ended the meal with a honey crème brûlée, which was beautifully presented and perfectly executed — smooth, subtly sweet, and a satisfying end to the meal.
My expectations for this place were high, but somehow, they were completely surpassed. Every moment of the experience, from the service to the food to the atmosphere — was exceptional. If you’re visiting the Biltmore Estate, this dining experience is an absolute must.

We had a wonderful experience dining here! The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our server was knowledgeable about a gluten allergy and was helpful in suggestions. The food was delicious. When it took a little longer to come out, we were given a bottle of wine. We are season pass holders and will definitely be returning to dine here. It exceeded expectations and was a perfect birthday dinner.

If you want to have a phenomenal meal in the most amazing atmosphere, this is the place. We love the Biltmore, and our dinner tonight was another outstanding experience. The food is always incredible (I had the short rib and my husband had the filet – both cooked to perfection, with amazing accoutrements), but what took the meal to another level was Hank – he simply made everything perfect. He was so nice, very knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted us to have a lovely evening. We will ask for him every time because he went out of his way to make everything perfect. I cannot recommend the dining room enough, and ask for Hank, he is an exceptional person.

We were so excited to get reservations to eat here on December 22nd after a tour of the Biltmore House. While the service and ambiance was great, the food fell short. When our meals came out, 5 out of the 7 plates were cold. Not lukewarm, cold. No biggie. It happens. Maybe it was an off night. Whatever, we were sure it could be fixed. My family was hungry so after switching some plates around, we ended up sending a filet and the duck back hoping to get at least warm food. And this is where it all went downhill. We had taken bites of the food so when it came back with the same bites included, we were surprised to say the least. They didn’t refire our dishes, they nuked them. The duck went from cold but tasty to rubbery and inedible. The filet went from cold, yet nicely cooked, to overdone and dry. We did bring this to the managers attention but no one seemed overly concerned. I mentioned the lack of concern to my family and must have been overheard because a bottle of champagne suddenly appeared as we were walking out. No offers to refire our meals, get us something else or take our very expensive meals that we didn’t really touch off the bill. The kicker?? The restaurant canceled our reservation on Open Table to make sure we could not leave a review there. It’s no wonder the get a 4.8 when they prohibit anyone with a less than stellar experience leave a review. We definitely won’t be back. Not what one would expect from a fine dining restaurant.

Wow. This was definitely a lively night out. We didn’t stay at the property but we booked it for dinner for a Birthday celebration.

The steak was probably the best I have ever had and I’ve eaten in a lot of places!
