I originally posted five stars because my calzone was delicious. In retrospect though, I believe the owner overcharged us intentionally. My husband clearly pointed out the menu stated fries were included with his sandwich, but he charged us anyway. Also, my calzone was $17, which included a choice of four toppings (I verified this before ordering). Our bill came to $70??!! I believe he also charged me the extra $3 per topping. One calzone for $17, Italian beef sandwhich about the same, two modelos and a cup of cocoa?! My husband said the sandwhich bread was just a cold hot dog bun with little meat on it. He gave it to our dog because he couldn’t finish it. Too bad, I enjoyed the calzone but the deceptive pricing lost him two customers.

What a great place here, the owner is incredibly kind and wonderful, and the food is phenomenal. I have never had a Chicago style deep dish. But based on everything I have read, this seemed incredibly authentic and the owner is from Chicago… the dough is simply some of the best I have ever tasted.

Beware- Look over your bill, we were overcharged! What we thought was an innocent mistake we now realize was not after reading several reviews from people with the same experience.

I’m estimating the toppings for each pizza to be $4 each topping because it isn’t listed.
1 pizza with pepperoni @ $14 plus 1 topping = $18
1 pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms @ $14 plus 2 toppings= $22
1 calzone (owner, who took our order said 4 toppings included) = $21
Total= $78 taxes 8% = 6.24
Our total should have been around $85
He charged us $104 before tip!!
We will not be back.

The Chicago pizza is amazing. We got the deep dish with sausage and an original pepperoni. I enjoyed watching the game and eating pizza with my family of 5. Give them a try. It’s well worth the money.

We got pizza for the whole construction crew and could not stop talking about how delicious it was! Excellent crust, thick cheese, and fresh toppings. It’s clear the owner knows what he’s doing and has every aspect of his pizza dialed in to bring you an authentic Chicago experience.

Loved the homemade fresh sauce and dough. Having lived in Chicago and burbs it’s not as sweet as Giordano’s, as best as I can remember, it is a lovely pizza in its own right! You won’t be disappointed! Will be back once I burn off the calories hiking!

From Wisconsin and recently visited Colorado Springs. We were driving around and noticed Billy’s and was hoping for some good pizza. Well they certainly came through. We ordered the Hawaiian on thin crust and it was excellent. My wife and I are all but one piece in our sitting. Owner was very polite and talkative. Very refreshing and I would definitely go again if I get back in town. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere: small, hole-in-the-wall, in a strip mall. Been around forever. Colorado Springs natives likely remember going here as a teen.
Food: so unique! Now, I’ve never had “authentic” Chicago pizza before, in Chicago, but if I had to guess…this is it.
The ingredients are so fresh. The meat tastes high quality, and the marinara sauce is absolutely perfect.
Service: Billy cares so much. He is of a dying breed of business owners who cares so much about customers. He is friendly and told us to be safe heading home ❤️.
I can’t say enough positive things about this small business. Go support them!

DELICIOUS authentic Chicago-style pizza! The owner was super friendly and made the pizza fresh to order. I ordered a small Chicago deep-dish style pizza to go and could barely wait until I got home to try it. The cheese pull was several feet long – YUM! This was no surprise bc the portions of the authentic Wisconsin cheese was exactly what I was wanting on my pizza! Delicious oregano flavor in the cheese and sauce. Would definitely order from Billy’s again.

Delicious deep dish! The owner was not kidding when he said the large deep dish could feed 5-8. We were a party of 6, and decided to try a few different pizzas. Lets just say, we ended up taking home several to go boxes! Wonderful pizza. Will be back again. Especially knowing you can get a pizza to bake at home! Thanks, Billy!
