Family friendly BBQ pub. Food was pretty good but the service was killer. Just the one waitress/bartender and she was stellar. Was super bummed and disappointed to hear that the business would be closing in a few months and replaced with a gas station. Especially since their BBQ sauce was pretty good. Stop while you can!

I went there on January 1, 2025 for dinner. We arrived at 5:40pm and waited until 5:50pm when we were told to seat ourselves. There were apparently only 2 wait staff. After we seated, we waited for 40 minutes before someone came to take our order. One wait staff said they would be with us right away and then forgot about us. The 2nd wait staff finally arrived at 6:30pm to take our order! We asked how long it would take to get dinner and at least 1 hour plus! During this time, we saw a number of customers leave the restaurant after they had seated themselves. I don’t understand why management didn’t prepare better for New Year’s Day! The waiter told us that a phone call had been made to have a 3rd chef come in. The waiter suggested that we go to Asian Garden instead for dinner. I have never experienced this poor dining experience!

Love the atmosphere, feels very old fashioned and cozy. The food was great, I had the meatloaf and my wife had the try-tips and our sides were baked beans and Mac n cheese. The meals came with corn bread, and I have to say that it was the best item on the plate. Our lease favorite was the Mac n cheese, it was very plain. It tasted like it was made from the box at the supermarket. Easy fix for that was to add a little of the citrus Chipotle sauce with a little bla k pepper and mix it up. I promise this will make it way better!

We have been on the road for 33 days. We eat out every night. And this was the worst experience we have had in 33 days. The restaurant wasn’t busy so it wasn’t that. We sat there watching our food get cold for over fifteen minutes. I am a server and my husband is a chef. We give a lot of grace as we get its a hard industry. But this was absurd. Then our meals were also wrong. Our food was cooked well so will add that. But will never be back.

Cute local place!
The seared scallops were pretty plain but just the way I like them! The dinner salad was HUGE. My friends seafood basket was just the right size and tasty. Prices were good and service was pretty fast.
Only downsides were the lemon lavender mock tail had way too much lemon juice, and when the server came back saying they were out of clam chowder that there was no way to cancel my friends soup and salad to change and it was confusing to understand her options.

Delicious tri tip salad, thinly sliced med rare, tender steak was great and a large bed of fresh romaine lettuce.

The wife and I stopped here for a midday meal. We each had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. The wife had fries and I had baked beans. The meal was good although I would have liked it if the sandwich was a little bigger but the wife felt it was the right size. I did add BBQ sauce to it after taking the photo.

Food was terrible I got the tri tip sandwich which had nothing on it except tri tip and the bread. No flavor to it at all and the BBQ sauce they give has no flavor either, prime rib we ordered as well tasted like it was sitting in the back forever. Really sad excuse for a BBQ place if they had better food it would be good since the waiter was really nice and the place was nice as well.

Get the cranberry bread!! We had good service. prices were higher than the menu on google, but still alright. The food was good except the coleslaw wasn’t great. I would recommend the taco soup if it’s available, but I would highly recommend getting some of their cranberry bread.
