I being wanting to try out this place so I passed by for lunch time and when I first arrived into the restaurant, dude it smelled so good, so I was thinking I hope it tastes as good as it smells and I was not disappointed it. I got a loaded potato with brisket and it was so good even the sweet tea was bomb too.
I went again another day to try also the macaroni with some brisket it was something they have on special and the brisket was still good but the macaroni was overcooked I didn’t like it, lastly I got a billy smore smacker that was really good

We love Billy Sim’s. The staff at the Northwest Expressway location in OKC is the best. We have our smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. The baked potato with chili is great, and if you haven’t tried the bologna—you’re missing out.

stopped by the Billy Sims BBQ off the Northeast Expressway in Oklahoma City and arrived before my friends. While I waited, the manager asked if I’d like to order, but I told him I was just hanging out until they arrived. To my surprise, he generously offered me a soda while I waited.
When it came time to order, I was torn between three delicious options but only planned to get two. The manager, on his own, included a portion of the third so I could try it as well. That level of kindness and hospitality isn’t something you see every day.
His warm, personable approach turned what was already my favorite restaurant into an even more special experience. I truly appreciate that people like him are given the opportunity to manage—he represents the brand perfectly.

It’s all good but, I’ve got an idea How about placing the scales ⚖️ where the customer can see the actual weight for the meats ordered. I don’t know if anyone trains the people behind the counter because sometimes they act like they don’t know what they’re doing.

Match 1st I had come in for lunch and in the middle of ordering I witnessed a Manger yelling and screaming at at young women who was in tears begging him to stop. You have now lost me and evral of my freinds who was also present we will never agien eat there our ur service agien!!

Billy Simms makes some of the best food especially since the closure of Rib Crib. Nice looking location with great feel… That said there is often order errors with incorrect and missing stuff. The most recent visit, literally got into a minor debate with staff over them not putting a 43cent sauce into the bag which was paid for already… Bought another to resolve issue and get food home in a timely manner. Also, despite the city wide mask ordinances, and signs on door, mask wearing of staff was incorrect or not even at all…see photos.

The food was on par with the “fast food chain” approach to BBQ that is Billy Sims BBQ. I would recommend out if you want a slightly above average choice. The ingredients and flavors were solid quality but not magical. The service and friendliness of this particular location is what made it an experience worth sharing. Great job guys! Keep up the good work.

The tea tasted like corn, the corn was super sour, and my skinny spud which on the website says comes with sour cream, butter, and chives and you could add cheese for $1, which I did. I only got cheese on my potato. And then when I called the restaurant, Brandi and the male manager (never caught his name) tried to argue with me that I was in the wrong. Yes I realize I sound like a complainer but this was just all in all a horrible experience. The restaurant was also only quiet because it was empty and yet still somehow dirty and run down.
