Reviews
Prices are that of a sit down restaurant, definitely not fast food.
One recommendation- they have an extensive & unique menu. Next time I will study the menu online before going in. So many delicious items to choose from.
Finally – clean restaurant & friendly staff!
Would recommend the Popper-Oni & Mighty Meat. The cheesecake was delicious, just wish there was more crust. Kinda shocked at the price too $8 a slice
Would come again next time we are in the area.
I went to ask about the ingredients of the house sauce and the woman I talked to said that she couldn’t tell me what was in the sauce because it was a “business secret”. I persisted and an older gentleman told me it was their Alfredo mixed with pizza sauce, and hot sauce. I placed the order finally and still had to wait in the line for quite some time.
While in the line I noticed that the make tables were wrecked. There was ingredients mixed with each other. This brings up a concern of food allergens the most in my opinion, especially after the sauce conundrum.
I was in line I think for about 15 minutes all together just to place the order. I found out after getting the drinks that I don’t actually pay at the register, I am supposed to pay after we get the food at the table.
The pizzas were cut incredibly poor and the bread sticks did not look appetizing at all. One thing that was really weird was that we ordered a pizza with just onions, green peppers, and pepperoni. We got that pizza with all of that, but with red peppers on it as well for some random reason.
I personally did not like the pizza at all and had only one small slice of that and one of the bread sticks. One of the other things that blew my mind is how many people were working but how noticeably slow everything ran. Drinks were made behind the counter and almost $3 a soda. I have no idea if they’re unlimited or not and if you’re supposed to wait on the one waitress that covers the entire floor to refill your drink(s) or if you are supposed to go to the register and ask for one.
I could go on and on with this review but it just comes down to that the pizza was pretty mediocre when you could finally get a piece. Service was very slow, the ticketing system seems like an utter waste of resources and a massive bottleneck for ordering, and we’ll finally… the price for those two tiny glorified totinos pizzas that were cut awfully, the “bread sticks”, and the five drinks (one being a $6 can of beer) made the order come out to just over $50.
A way to put it for people from Kearney and the surrounding areas is, It’s like if Bico’s tried to open up a Subway for subs and pizzas. So if that makes sense then you will know what I mean. I’m giving them a 2 because I feel like they have a lot of room for improvement, but these next 30 days that they have right now are deciding if they’ll float or not. By the way, I do not recommend going there if the parking lot is somewhat full or more as getting out can be an absolute nightmare.
Also, 99% of the staff were not wearing masks. That includes on the make tables and in the kitchen. Almost everyone wasn’t wearing a mask in line either. This is all during an ongoing pandemic where only 1 in 4 Americans are vaccinated. If that bothers you, you can try ordering ahead on their phone if you can get through. Their website while up, does not allow you to order through it at this time.
While in line too, a person who did order ahead over the phone said she had a rough time ordering. I let them in front of me. We noticed that there were pizzas backed up in the oven and I joked with her and said “hopefully it’s not one of your pizzas”. She went to pick up the order and it looked like she was ready to go… But, apparently they were missing a pizza from their order.
No, it wasn’t stuck in the oven. They didn’t even make it at all.
N/A on bathroom rank-ometter or somebody was in there and I couldn’t check her out
