If you’re looking for a good variety of hamburgers try Bill’s Burgers. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you select the outdoor seating during cooler weather they have heaters to make it somewhat comfortable. I’ve been here several times and have never been displeased. Needless to say, I’ll be back.

One thing is certain at Bill’s burgers, you will not be saying “where’s the beef?” I happened across this establishment while passing through Lampasas recently, it’s not too flashy from the road, but the number of cars in the parking lot caught my eye as I drove by and I quickly decided to double back. I was very pleased with myself for this random act as this place has awesome burgers! 🙂 They also have a very large and covered outdoor dining patio and plenty of extra parking behind the building that can easily accommodate large trucks and trailers (i.e. if you are bringing your ATVs or blinds out to the deer lease, you can stop here without an issue.) The beef is very fresh and over flows the buns. The ingredients and burger toppings were also very fresh. Then you top it off with very good standard french fries, you have an all-time great Americana burger joint. Do yourself a favor and stop by Bill’s burgers next time you are in Lampasas, Texas.

Best burgers hands down. I travel from Georgetown to their Burnett location. They have the best burgers and sweet tea! Great service to go along with the food. My picture is the single, I tried the double and after an hour I finished it. So the single works GREAT for me. I stopped here randomly in my first trip that took me through Lampassas. It is had a quite large and spacious interior with lots of room between tables. It has an equally huge outdoor dining space with a nice relaxing view of some hill country. There are bars inside and outside.
I ordered a Double D burger and onion rings. -The onion rings were perfectly cooked: soft onion; light, crispy batter.
-The burger was enormous. Grilled onions done perfectly. Thick bacon, perfectly cooked and I was able to bite through the bacon instead of having large chunks pull away. I’ve never had such thick bacon that was so easy to eat on a burger. I have large hands, and the patty was almost a complete handspan. It was just about perfect.
It may have been the best burger I have ever bought. I was stunned. Well done, Bill’s.

These are the best burgers we have ever had. My favorite is the Green egg and hamburger. The 2nd burger pictured is the nacho burger and although its messy, it’s still amazing. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is inviting.
