Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. We had ribs, brisket, sausage, chopped brisket sandwich. For $35, we had more food than we could handle (2 people). While it may be fast food bbq, I’d go back anytime.
The lady behind the counter was a delight. Good service, relaxed atmosphere.
I’ve got to give major credit where it’s due — Bill Miller absolutely nailed Thanksgiving this year. From pickup to the last bite, everything was seamless, fresh, and downright impressive.
Pickup was fast, friendly, and perfectly organized. Everything was packaged with serious care — sturdy trays, labeled containers, and even clear reheating instructions that made dinner stress-free. They loaded us up with plates, cups, silverware, serving spoons, and tongs… basically everything short of setting the table for us.
The Tom Turkey? Perfectly cooked and beautifully carved — tender, juicy, succulent, and full of that roasty, slightly smoky flavor you want this time of year. No dry slices anywhere. Honestly better than many “homemade” turkeys I’ve eaten.
The sides were just as impressive:
• Bright green, super fresh green beans — perfect for our traditional casserole.
• Buttery-smooth mashed potatoes and tasty gravy that tasted homemade.
• Fresh dressing (packaged raw — huge plus!) that baked up beautifully in the oven.
• And the pies… classic, delicious, and absolutely worth saving room for.
If I had to mention one caveat, it would be the online ordering system. There’s definitely a learning curve. We had to start over a few times because you can’t go back to previous pages, and the quantity calculator can be confusing. For example, our package included 24 dinner rolls, but it wasn’t clear whether we were supposed to enter “24,” “1,” or “2 dozen,” or how many rolls came per unit. The whole process feels a bit like back-end purchase order software rather than a customer-friendly front-end experience — but we eventually figured it out.
That said, once the order was placed, everything else was flawless. This is now our third year ordering Thanksgiving from Bill Miller, and the consistency is incredible. If you’re traveling, too busy to cook, or just want a guaranteed great meal without the chaos, this is hands-down one of the best holiday options in town.

That makes no sense. Why should I waste my gas and time to return food I’m already unhappy with, especially when the mistake was on their end? It’s frustrating that a business would rather inconvenience a paying customer than take responsibility. Michael’s response felt dismissive and unhelpful.
If you’re ordering here late, double-check your food before leaving — because chances are, they won’t.

has fresh lemons, fresh hot sauce, fresh butter, fresh bread, etc. Today I came In for lunch and again everything was fresh , clean looking Restaurant and this was during Lunch! I ordered a three piece dark chicken. This Fried Chicken was fresh, Delicious and CALIENTE This Bill Miller is very impressive which also includes the supervisor This guy is always moving everywhere, bringing hot sauce, hot gravy, hot biscuits, hot everything! The 2410 employees that work here are also Super Charged Individuals, this team moves like a fine Oil Machine.
Wish all Bill Miller were like this Bill Miller’s.
