In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. Went in the morning to pick up breakfast tacos and ordered 3 carne guisada tacos and other for breakfast. I don’t know what’s going on but if anyone wants to get diet tacos this is the place to go.. got 3 pieces of meat in one taco and luckily got 4 in the other 2 how sad!!!!!
Won’t eat here again so sad when u buy drive through and end up with this type of underrated tacos….. I have been here before and the tacos were much better and had a lot more in them..

Just came here to pick up lunch and let me say, im very disappointed with the portions I received. I arrived back at work to eat, and to see the very little portion of food on my plate blew me away. For $12!! I could have just bought the kids plate. I bought the #3, Reg Plate with brisket, rice, beans and coleslaw. It was enough food to fill up a 5 year old, but im a grown man! I need me some food! I took a photo with the fork to show how tiny these pieces of meat were.And to top it off, the service was extremely rude. Guy at the window didn’t bother to greet me or say anything, just gave me my total. He pretty much just shoved my order to me and closed the window without saying anything. So I don’t like to make bad reviews and the food tasted good, but this is the problem when I pulled up to the drive-thru window I asked the gentleman if the chopped beef was actually chopped or shredded he acted like he didn’t know what I mean, so he had me pull up to the window and we talked about it and he promised me that what he was telling me was actual chopped beef after I talked to him about it for 5 mins straight and when I got home and unpacked everything it was not it was like mush, I should have opened it right there in front of him, but there were people behind me and I didn’t want to be rude.. I’m sorry, but you can’t make a sandwich out of that my husband likes chopped beef which is chopped in chunks which is how most places do chopped beef which is not mush.. I spent way too much money on that and my husband would not even eat it I put some on a potato for me, but on top of that I asked for a half a pound of smoked turkey… mind you it was November 1st I’m asking for it and the gentleman tells me I’m sorry we don’t have any turkey because we’re trying to save it for Thanksgiving? I’m like oh hahaha I laughed because I thought he was kidding and I was like Oh no you’re serious? They would not sell me any smoked turkey.. I’m just a little taken back that’s my first trip to Bill Millers and I probably won’t go back. He knew it was my first trip there I told him I had never ordered from them before and I needed it to be this way, I was going to order sliced beef and just chop it up myself just in case and he talked me out of it reassuring me that the chopped beef was actually chopped. The kid at the window seemed very nice and my Mac and Cheese was delicious but I got half a chicken and it was extremely dry and because I wanted the turkey it just wasn’t the same.

Super small tacos. Its beginning to be the norm. Continuous occurrence order after order. I do not know what’s going on with bill miller, but every single one seems to be making the tacos smaller and prices continue to go up. I am not being charged half price, but am being served half tacos.

Bill Miller Bar-B-Q has delicious breakfast tacos. We ordered 6 Bacon,Egg, & Cheese for the family. They were fabulous. Customer Service was wonderful very helpful and friendly. The drive thru was wonderful it was very busy but they were quick with the orders. For 6 tacos it was less than $20 .

This Bill Millers has drastically changed since we visited 4 years ago. We got the 3 piece chicken and it was the best we’ve had in a long time. Flavor was delicious and even the white meat was juicy. Great job!

I thought my order was pretty simple. One sweet tea refill and one Chopped BBQ Sandwhich with NO onions. Two items. Simple? Evidently not. Not only did I get onions on my sandwich, I got an extra baggie of them. Ridiculous.

First of all, the food is great and I hope you will consider adding mashed potatoes permanently to the menu as well as the chicken fried chicken! My only complaint is the unsweetened tea is often bad. We haven’t had any issues with sweet tea, but the unsweetened tea tastes awful lately. I think it is not changed out on a regular basis or something. I have had this happen 5 plus times and I miss how the unsweetened tea used to be excellent.
