Our first time in Bath and we felt like an Indian. So glad we were within walking distance of Bikanos, one of the nicest meals we have shared in a long time! Seated right away, ordered super quickly and within two minutes we had poppadoms & two lovely pints of cobra! We tried the yoghurt & tamarind puris and these were absolutely gorgeous, I could easily eat these all night! Super fresh with spring onion, zesty, sweet, creamy – an utter delight! For mains I had butter chicken and my partner a jalfrezi, along with the tastiest cheese, garlic & coriander naan. We absolutely wolfed it down. Our waiter was lovely, amazing service, great price, cosy atmosphere. Next time we’re in Bath we will definitely return. Recommend to anyone in search of a very tasty & filling meal. Thank you for looking after us!

We came on a Sunday night and it was sadly quiet for somewhere that does pretty decent Indian food. The starters were excellent – the salt and pepper paneer in particular was really tasty and cooked nicely. Wish we had opted to order more starters but I was tempted by the Chicken Taka Tak curry which was highlighted as a specialty. Sadly this was very disappointing – a straightforward mild tomato flavour without any of the depth that the other ingredients suggested. Worth checking out to fill up on starters!

Very good well made food. Unsure if accessible. No parking. Staff very attentive. Downside is the 10% gratuity is added to bill, did not like this, prefer to do own tip. Especially when 1 person is paying can make it more expensive.

❣️Uffff the food was next level! We came all the way from Cardiff to Bath Spa just to try this place—and wow, it did not disappoint. The spli dosa was crispy perfection—hoo my god, I still dream about it. And the chicken curry? Uffff, rich, flavorful, and absolutely divine. Every bite was a celebration.

My friend and I went for a meal here earlier this month. It was a very welcoming atmosphere and we were seated immediately.
I chose the Chana Dahl, lime pickle side and huge, fried Indian breads! They were the size of footballs and absolutely delicious I was told that this was typical Indian street food. My friend had the Chana Masala with lemon fried rice. Equally as tasty and good value.
I asked for extra lime pickle which was issued immediately and the service was friendly.
I’d highly recommend this restaurant and advise booking at peak times.

Another nice visit (30th Dec 2025 @ 6pm). As usual food and the two owners where excellent. We will always book a table when visiting the Bath area. I was disappointed to see that the cheapest bottle of wine on the menu is now £30. That’s just too much in my opinion, in fact it’s the dearest cheapest bottle of wine in any Indian restaurant menu that I’ve seen for a very long time. We will be back to eat the excellent food, but no wine I’m afraid.

Had a fantastic dinner last night, our second time and the food was fabulous! This is not your average Indian menu, with many dishes we’d never heard of and no red food dye on their excellent Seekh Kebab – wonderful. Service top notch. Still dreaming of their Chicken Taka Tak!
