This is one of the better Indian spots in the area, especially if you are craving North Indian classics and proper street food. The biggest win here is the pricing. It is reasonable enough that you can order a bunch of dishes and actually explore the menu instead of committing to just one main.
We tried raj kachori, dahi bhalla, chhole bhatura, stuffed kulcha, dhokla, and pani puri. Most of the items were genuinely tasty and satisfying. The raj kachori was a standout and easily the highlight of the meal. Great balance of textures and flavors.
The only miss for us was the pani puri. The crispy hollow puris were soggy, which kind of ruins the whole experience since that crunch is everything. It did not feel as fresh as it should have.
That said, the menu is extensive and there is still so much left to try. I would definitely come back and explore more dishes next time.
Ordered chole bhature and it was fluffy and mouth watering. Raj kachori was flavorful too and had multiple layers.
Deluxe thali had nice food items but the paneer was the worst i have ever tasted. It was too sweet, like a dessert. 2/5 for paneer curry.
1 star less because of the way they are managing the food ordering process which seemed to be a bit of chaos given the line starts right in front of the entrance gate and the seating is on both sides of that line. One needs to cross the line to get to the pickup counter or to get the packing boxes. They should probably consider ordering process using QRs and assigning order numbers. Parking space was ample. Their raj kachoudi, matar kulcha, chole bhature are all nice. We will go again for that same taste we are used to. Perhaps a weekday would be better to visit.
For dessert, the Ghewar was delicious, but the Rabdi deserves a special mention—it was tasty, rich, not too sweet and the perfect way to end the meal.
The service was impressively quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and great collection of indian desserts, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
The chole bhature were amazing, pani puri was okay, and some items were a bit sweet. But the thali was disappointing because they charged more and gave less food, with no refill.
I also met Jagdeep, but her attitude was not good. She didn’t greet customers and didn’t seem interested in her work, which was surprising because I am an old customer. However, Simran’s behavior made my day, and that’s the main thing I want to remember.
New Sweet Spot truly lives up to its name. The sweets are exceptionally fresh, soft, and perfectly juicy — unlike typical grocery store sweets that may start fresh but often lose their moisture and texture over time. Here, every bite feels freshly prepared and indulgent.
I also tried their chole bhature, and it stood out from the usual versions served elsewhere. They prepare the chole using black chickpeas, which adds a rich, authentic flavor. The bhature are thin, crisp, and beautifully balanced — not overly greasy or heavy.
Overall, the quality, freshness, and distinct preparation style make this place a must-visit for both sweet lovers and chole bhature fans. Definitely worth coming back!
I have tried Raj kachori, gur rasmalai, and masala tea. Everything is average.
It’s a self service place and they will ask you if you can put a review for them. They even go to the extent to ask you by what name the review will show up. I am not a fan of this.
The thali was well-balanced with a good mix of curries, rice, bread, and dessert — perfect if you want to try a little bit of everything. The Chole Bhature stood out with fluffy bhature and rich, perfectly seasoned chole, while the Pav Bhaji was buttery, spicy, and served hot with soft pav.
The restaurant was clean, service was quick, and the staff were friendly. Portion sizes were generous and prices reasonable for the quality. Definitely one of the better spots in Fremont for North Indian vegetarian food. Highly recommend!
