disrespectful and being arrogant. Description and the picture on the app don’t match with what they. We ordere aloo tikki as described in the DoorDash app which has the description of aloo tikki cholay. I called twice to confirm. But they ended up giving only two pieces of aloo tikki with nothing. When I called to confront they argued profusely and disconnected. Super disrespectful to customers. Management needs to take a look at their hiring practices.
I would recommend their jalebi though, they were quite good
Got onion kachori takeout and it was pretty good, loved the taste. They have fresh samosas and jalebis too!
We tried:
1. Rasmalai 4/5 – this was good.
2. Gulab Jamun – I had black one (not brown) and they were really good. 5/5
3. Jalebi – no doubt, it was the best jalebi so far I have tried in the states. Crispy and juicy. 5/5
4. Tikki – omg! This is the best north indian tikki chaat i have ever had here in the states. I am from Houston and I never had this level of tasty tikki even there. This is worth a try.
5. Chhole bhature – bhature were fine but chhole were not that good in taste ( i felt something stale taste). Chhole were looking good but taste was a bit disappointing. 3/5
The chole bhature were not so good, the chole lacked flavor and the bhature were a bit hard. The paratha was not good either.
The jalebis definitely stole the show and were a big hit in our group. There were hot and flavorful.
Lots of seating available at the restaurant.
Beware of ordering sweets here. Almost everything is stale and moldy. I found mold on the served milk cake. Though they threw that piece on mentioning the mold, but another piece was served from the same tray.
The same day, rabri served with jalebi was stale and sour. Atleast when reported back, they accept their mistake and replace the bad stuff.
Old:
I love the kachori here. This is the only place I found which serves kachori with aloo sabzi (the typical desi style I know).
Aloo kachori has 2 kachoris with aloo sabzi for $9.99.
It is also famous for the fresh desi ghee jalebi (5 pieces for $6.99).
Caution: I found infestation on motichoor laddoos. Last time I tried motichoor here, they were the best I had in bay area. This time, found fungus on them. I told the owner and he did not even check the stuff. I wonder if he will remove the batch.
So, be cautious while having the sweets here.
We visited Saturday night around 8:30 PM, and ordered Chole Bature, Raj Kachori, Jalebi and Malpoa.
The raj kachori is delicious, crisp on the outside and bursting with sweetened yogurt and ending the palate parade with a flavor bomb of chat masala.
The live jalebi counter, is a must try. You are served crispy and sweet delicacy. Must try.
The other dishes were great too! Will definitely re-visit.
