Honest to god some of the best food I have ever had! Not your typical lunch spot, the food is thoughtfully prepared with unique flavors and ingredients. The lobster roll sandwich was to die for as well as the rosemary fries and homemade ranch! Just so, so good, can’t say enough.

This place is wonderful, the patio is beautiful and relaxing. The staff works so hard to accommodate everyone with the small kitchen they have. The drinks and wine are the best in the county. The food is fresh (handmade patties and sauces).

The food and service is AMAZING!! We enjoyed the egg rolls and Bandido Burger. The rosemary fries were delicious and crisp (not too oily). Nice interior and exterior dining areas. Highly recommended!

Met up with friends for dinner and it was a great experience! We sat outside on the patio and loved it! We had calamari, cheese curds, and fried pickles as appetizers. They each had their own unique sauces and all were delicious! We had wine and house cocktails. The Free Thinker was so pretty! It sounds weird, but it’s delicious! Like a bourbon sangria. The Campfire was a smoked bourbon cocktail. It’s not as pretty, but it was the perfect cocktail. The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had. It was very meaty and the sauce was not at all over-powering. The rosemary fries were the kicker. So crispy and perfectly seasoned. Can’t wait to go back!

What a delightful surprise. We were passing through elephant Butte and Google showed us this restaurant. It’s amazing. Nice selection of artisan beers and good wines but even more important good fresh food. My husband ordered the cashew chicken and I got the Trois fromage – both very delicious.

Definitely call and get a reservation, it’s not a big deal – but it’s not a huge place, and it is incredibly good, and popular. The food is amazing – I had the lobster roll which was delicious, with the rosemary fries, which are an absolute must. My partner had the bison burger, which was also fantastic.

My husband and I ate outside in the dog friendly patio. He had the Lobster/Shrimp roll and I had the Bison burger. It was more than just a meal, it was an amazing experience! Food, service and atmosphere was awsome. We highly recommend Bigfoot Restaurant 5*s +❣

I am very disappointed in this place. My family and myself went to Elephant Butte Lake and decided to eat here on Friday April 7th. Upon arriving the man at the front told us that there was no tables available and that it would be an hour or more wait. We said we would like to be put on the waitlist, but the guy came back with you guys could go eat at Casa Taco down the street. We got really offended over this being that we are a Hispanic family. Not only was that rude but there was plenty of tables available in the patio area and inside the restaurant itself. I have never felt so bad by a business and I have never known a business to turn down customers and refer them elsewhere. Just because we are Hispanic does not mean we want to eat tacos. There were other restaurants the guy could have referred to. Our family was really looking forward to eating here after seeing the food online and reading the reviews. We really hope that this establishment does not condone racism and that maybe one day when visiting Elephant Butte we could try the food.
