The food is awesome. Our waitress was the sweetest. I will definitely ask for Allison again. She was so friendly and very helpful. She deserves all the tips. The new York strip steak is amazing. We will most definitely be back. This was our first time eating here.

I’ve been to Big Whiskey’s a few times and I have to say, I really like it! The food is good. They have a brunch during the weekend that’s pretty good as well. They have a decent selection of craft and domestic beers. The prices are reasonable and pretty on par with other places. The service has always been good and prompt.
They also have really good game day deals on boneless wings and tall domestics. I’ve enjoyed several early college football games here at the bar for lunch! Plenty of tvs at the bar and all around the restaurant.

First time ever eating here. Food was awesome. Waitress Sarah was so friendly and accommodating. Pricier than some restaurants but only by a couple dollars per meal. I highly recommend Big Whiskey’s.

Fantastic bar and grill with quite possibly the best lunch deals and happy hour deals in Huntsville/Madison area. Their food is on point, their beer and liquor selection is great, fantastic desserts, and wonderful service. Our bartender Cindy was an absolute delight and we will be coming back for sure. I hope to see another location in South Huntsville or close to it.

Heidi and Big Whiskey’s have been huge supporters of our basketball program. Their food is fabulous! We’ve ordered boxes meals and also used their catering. I don’t leave many bad reviews at all, but I had a particularly terrible experience here. First impression is that the place immediately smells AWFUL, like a college dive bar. The fries tasted terribly freezer burnt and looked like the were scraped out from the bottom of the bag. I could tell that my waitress tried to remember my requests, but she just forgot everything immediately after, including the payment device. After I paid I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for her to bring me a takeout box, after asking her and reminding her several times. I also ordered a takeout burger, which apparently tasted awful as well that day, according to my boyfriend. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Although it was my first time here Cindy ensured I knew all the different things about the menu and helped me pick out my dinner !! It was also my birthday and she recommended the Cream Cheese Churros and they were absolutely AMAZING

Stopped by for a drink & dinner. They have a nice bar area and can open to the outside on warm evenings. They pour a nice Guiness (ice cold, which I like). I love their over-priced ‘Boom Boom (Sweet & Spicy) Shrimp’. A couple of shrimp were mealy but they are usually all OK. I ordered the steak & salad and the kitchen soon started dumping my order on the counter (see photo). The server apologized and then just walked off. The food sat there getting cold as I finished my appetizer. A manager noticed this and offered to take my entree back to a warmer, which I accepted. The salad was bigger than other places. They finally served the steak which was inedible. I tried to cut it with 2 knives; I thought the knives were dull by they were not. A huge line of white gristle was in the cut. To be fair, this can happen in any restaurant but I felt I has already been “that guy” once, so I just left. Stars: Guiness – 5 (ice cold), Manager – 5 (she tried), Salad – 4 (big), Appetizer – 3 (a couple of old shrimp (mealy) mixed in), male bartender – 3 (seemed confused), Garlic Potatoes – 3, Kitchen Server – 1 (needs training), Steak – 0 (probably just a bad cut). $65 for one person (includes 2 Guiness, dinner, tax, and tip). Try the cold beer and the Shrimp. Pass on dinner.

I came here for a late lunch the other day and it was delicious. The staff was friendly including the manager who stopped by to check in on us. The environment was clean and the seating was comfortable. Im looking forward to returning soon.
