The place was very active at around 6:40 PM, which in theory is always a good thing as far as the food circulates and busy better than empty. A very nice young Lady had mentioned this Big Tuna was a favorite place for her, and also mentioned the Butter Noodles as being extra tasty. Curiosity, of course, got us all to the location.

Bartender was awesome, food was good but not great. Came out almost a little too fast for sushi. Portions are great. Can’t say much about the rice which is the most important part of the dish. Doesn’t taste like sushi rice, just kinda plain jasmine style. Also my pickled ginger tasted off. Overall pretty cool place I’ll give them a go again later.

We’ve dined at this location several times and I have to say not only is their sushi remarkable, but their service is good too. The prices are fair, not too expensive at all and the atmosphere inside is surprising. It wasn’t what I expected from the storefront and the name. Definitely one of our favorite places to dine at in Chico.

The new remodel is really nice. The service is excellent and friendly, great energy! Just wish they would add some new rolls to the menu. Must try the Shiso Hot (under appetisers), crab and tuna tacos with egg plant shell (under appetisers) coconut shrimp roll and Lion King roll were my favorite.

One of the best sushi places I’ve been to. There are a lot of good places in Chico but this one was nicer and also economical. The server was really nice to us. We were 3 members and went there for brunch. We mostly liked Crunchy roll & Italian. Japanese taco was a new concept. Tacos were made of thin sliced eggplant, battered & fried. Overall had a good time and would suggest to go before 7 if for dinner as this place closes at 8 and it’s pretty busy at evening.

The sushi was alright, felt that cilantro was over-used in the rolls. The service team was great and quick. Atmosphere was good. Would eat there again but ask them to hold the cilantro.
