Good pizza and steak sandwiches. They also have good wings that are done perfectly and not soggy. The Philly cheesesteak stromboli is also officially really good.

So I pass this location from time to time and it seems that tenants come and go. But this time I decided to call in an order and stop by to try this most recent establishments fare.
This place is called “Big Time Pie Guys”. And, for me at least, for some reason I could hear the music from the 80’s song “Big Time”,(by Peter Gabriel), playing in my mind the closer I got to the the pizzeria.
So when I placed my order I was surprised to find unbeatable pricing on their cheesesteak offerings. These great prices are pretty much across the board for everything else they offer. I ordered the City Cheesesteak as I felt this represented the purest version of the dish.
Now a good cheesesteak for under $10 is a feat in today’s economy! And what’s more these guys offer premium ingredients, such as the high quality Grande brand cheese. So there is no skimping on quality.
So, again, I go there and get my cheesesteak. While there I briefly speak with the owner, a guy who brings the atmosphere, flavor and feel of South Philadelphia dining to this location.
Perhaps this is what was missing in the past with previous tenants. But with these prices…..and did I mention taste… Yes taste… because the cheesesteak was excellent with a type of bread that I haven’t seen offered locally before…..these guys are just unbeatable!
So all things considered this is Big Time Quality without having to pay a big price.
This is really the best deal in town for people that want to experience the big city taste without having to travel the big city miles.

Always quick, very good, and haven’t had any issues yet. The pepperoni and cheese to crust ratio is always on point, and while the crust is somewhat varied for how dark it is, it’s always delicious and cooked through. Everyone is always friendly, so check them out.

I heard abt this place from work. We r always looking for a good Stromboli. We have had from almost every place in Altoona. We ordered a boli not on menu it was quite delicious. I like a little darker crust and the toppings seem to be higher quality. My only 2 issues and why the 4 star I have no idea how much we spent bc we had no receipt and the other issue is just a personal preference I like sauce to be warm. It had great flavor and I could have popped it in the microwave but Styrofoam and microwaves don’t mesh very well. Other than that we can’t wait to try other items.

The lady’s customer service was absolutely amazing! I have not been that impressed with customer service in years. Extremely friendly. Food is amazing. And you can tell she put her heart and soul into it. My first time there, but I promise, I will be a returning customer. Keep up the amazing work. It does not go unnoticed! She was also the only one there, doing deliveries and handling incoming orders, that’s dedication.

I placed an order for a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, and buffalo chicken boli bites, which is my boyfriend’s favorite. I surprised him with this dinner after an extremely difficult day at work and he was so excited. He picked the food up and checked- no pepperoni on the pizza, no extra cheese. He went back inside to tell the staff, and while they did offer to make a replacement, we had already waited nearly 40 minutes for this order, and my boyfriend literally had to go to bed within the next hour due to his work schedule. There was no time to wait. The boli bites were ridiculously dry and bland, and the pizza was THIN, rubbery, and I don’t even think it had sauce on it. We are so disappointed and will never return. A year ago, this place was a diamond in the rough- easily our favorite spot for pizza, but lately, it’s just been ROUGH – we will take our business elsewhere.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful when deciding what pizza to choose from. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes from ordering my pizza and the building was very clean. The pizza was absolutely delicious and we will definitely come back again.

Placed an order through the slice app for pizza. Over an hour and a half before pizza was delivered. Restaurant wouldn’t answer the phone. Drove to Restaurant and doors were locked!! Call customer service through slice and they couldn’t even get a hold of the Restaurant. Really disappointing that a business doesn’t answer their phone and has no way of contacting them. Probably will never eat here again. Wish I could have just gotten a refund at this point.

Ordered buffalo chicken salad, hot garlic wings, and City Cheesesteak. The wings were fantastic!! The sauce was not like a normal hot garlic. The seasoning in the sauce and how the wings were cooked was just amazing!! The gentleman who took our order was so nice! Even with it being so busy he made you feel so welcomed. You can tell it’s a good environment and they just want their business to thrive! Highly recommend.

Fast, kind, and delicious. There was a glitch with the online order and I immediately got a phone call to resolve it. It was great service and the food tasted amazing.
