Nachos were spectacular, tacos as well. Service was good. Just before a Cubs game, was not too crowded. $5 for a single 12oz can of Diet Coke is a little ridiculous but is what it is.

Hit up Big Star Wrigleyville before a Cubs game, and it was a solid choice. The spot’s got a lively vibe with a big patio that’s perfect for people-watching. I ordered the Taco Al Pastor and the Taco De Pescado—both were flavorful and hit the spot. Also grabbed the Big Star Nachos, which were loaded and great for sharing. Spent around $25, including a margarita that was strong and refreshing. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly. Overall, a great place to grab some tacos and drinks before the game.

This restaurant is very close to the Wrigley Field. We ended up getting take-out, but we did get to see the inside as we waited for our food. Service and the atmosphere was great. There’s a bar, some seating and a patio in the back. The food I ordered: panzo and pescado tacos and the elote. My cousin ordered a burrito, which was a pretty big portion size. I really enjoyed my food and the spice, my favourite was the pescado (fish taco), it was crispy and tasty.

Great spot for a pre-game bite. Can get any beer as a chelada, excellent atmosphere.

Every time I’m in Wrigleyville, this spot is my absolute go-to—it’s one of those reliable places that just nails it every visit! The food is seriously delicious and offers incredible value for the quality and portion sizes. Whether it’s classic bar favorites, hearty mains, or quick bites, everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without breaking the bank—perfect for anyone watching their wallet around the ballpark.

What really sets it apart, though, is how fast the food comes out, even on packed game days when the area is buzzing with Cubs fans pre- or post-game. No long waits here—you get your order quickly so you can focus on enjoying the vibe, catching the game, or heading into Wrigley Field without stress. The service is friendly and efficient too, which makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

If you’re in the neighborhood for a Cubs game, a night out, or just craving good eats in Wrigleyville, this place is a no-brainer. Highly recommend—it’s become a must-stop for me whenever I’m around!

My friend and I had an absolutely awesome time here. Great location with an amazing atmosphere. Truly a classic Chicago sports bar to enjoy the city from! Our hostess/server Bella was very attentive and incredibly helpful in picking the best food on the menu, and she made our experience that much better! The food can be a bit pricey, but I promise you it’s worth it (the fish tacos are to DIE for).

The service and the margaritas were hands down 5/5. I got the shrimp and potato tacos – the shrimp was really good. Had a nice crispy batter. The potato one was actually very spicy. ️ you’ve been warned lol. My husband got the carne asada and the pastor tacos. He said he would get all pastor next time since it was a mix of sweet and spicy. Oh! The guac…… soooo gooodddd.

I don’t even know where to start ‍♀️
The bar service was terrible. There weren’t many people there in general so you would assume that the bartender would be a bit more attentive (nope-curly haired guy-didn’t bother to say his name which makes a customer feel more welcome sometimes)
Everything we ordered felt/tasted like it had been sitting in the kitchen all day waiting to be gotten rid of.
We couldn’t even finish it because the meat was stringy and hard.
The tortillas were like frisbees but a frisbee is much more fun than paying the price we paid.
The bartender only seemed slightly cordial when we were paying our tab and he couldn’t wait to get out of work (his own words)
I know it’s not Cubs season now but why does the quality drop? Do you stop caring about your patrons if you’re not making bank when Wrigley isnt busy?
Never going there again.
I’ll still frequent the other location-they know how to take care of people.

Overall we had a really good experience! We had a little bit of a late start with our reservation and some confusion using OpenTable. Once everything was figured out, we had the BEST experience! Our server was Eve and they did a great job providing us with an exceptional experience! Although they got busy, they always checked in on us and made sure everything was going well! We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was! The tacos were delicious and there was extra hot sauce to add, which I appreciated. Will definitely considering coming back next time I’m in the area.
