Great little diner pizza parlor. The wings were good, but the pizza was amazing. My son only likes pepperoni so we got one of those and a 3 cheese white pizza. Both pizzas were amazing. The flavors were great and the crust was incredible. The server was on top of things, we never got below a 1/4 of a glass on our drinks and there was plenty of fun banter along with her service. We will definitely get food from here in the future.

I usually like the food at Big Sal’s, but I just ordered the Italian sausage hot sub to try it and asked for the marinara on the side, and it was not good, to say the least. My first issue was the sausage, why was it cut into slices for a sub? Just cut a few in half and slap them in there instead. My second issue was the marinara was still put on the sandwich after it was repeated multiple times that I wanted it on the side, it made my sandwich soggy and mushy. It felt like I was eating bread mush with some sausage pieces mixed in. Worst food I’ve had there in a while.

Great pizza! We were visiting from outside of Chicago and stopped at Big Sal’s to try NY pizza. What a surprise as to how delicious the pizza was! The service was good, the pizza came out quickly and we loved every bite! I would not hesitate to recommend Big Sal’s and hope next time we are in the area to stop by.

Pit stop before driving up to Montreal and pump gas next door. Pizza was good and I would recommend esp when it just came out. The pizza is nice and soft and the crust is a little crispy. The Supreme is mean and loaded with tons of sausage, crunchy thin green peppers, and pepperoni (I opt out of onions). The salad had pepperoni! The Seafood Combo pasta with rose sauce (marinara + alfredo) was ok. Fresh scallops and big shrimps but I think I prefer the pizza more. I would try the wings next time. Btw, comes with Garlic bread and that was good!

Our pilgramage bus of 25 folks, ranging in age from 6 to 90, needed to stop for dinner on our way back from Canada. We called many places off exit 37, and no one wanted us. We would have to just park somewhere and let these folks fend for themselves. In years past, it was over 2 hours for some.
We saw Big Sals on Google maps and read the reviews. We called, and they were HAPPY to accommodate us, even with little notice. Service, food, and atmosphere were all 110%. Truly. The menu had lots more than pizza, and everyone left with ToGo containers, as portions were generous. 25 of us were in and out in less than 90 minutes, including sitting around eating the hot fried dough. We would rather support big Sals instead of a chain restaurant anyway!

All the food is good and service is great, I’d like to give more stars. I ordered delivery and everything was as expected except my calzone, the flavor was spot on but what they sent it in made it soggy. I would suggest that they find better containers for the calzone because it nearly ruined my meal. I wound up eating just the filling because the pizza dough was not appealing, at all…. soggy is not what I expected at all.
