I told the server that had never been here before, and she was great at describing the options and giving me the most popular recommendations. The service was really quick, efficient, and friendly. The food was super tasty and well seasoned! Seasoned! The vibe in the restaurant was also a great modern Hawaiian feel. It’s a great spot for a quick and tasty bite!

It’s wonderful having a little spec of Aloha in the greater Salt Lake area. The food is authentic, fairly priced, and delicious. The staff provides great service and you can get a sense of family when dining in. The music and football jerseys on the wall harness a great vibe in the restaurant. Sai’s is always such a treat.

Went in to try Big Sai’s BBQ with my friends and the food was tremendous! I personally recommend the Kalua Pork. After one bite I thought I died and went to heaven. Anyone looking for good food at a great price this is the place!

Love this place, they make great food, but don’t bother going in if it’s anywhere close to closing time. The first time they just told me no and refused to make anything. Second time they said they were closed for catering even though the doors were unlocked and the signs all say open. Love this place and it’s great food. Just wish the service was better.

Stop searching, you have found the right place. Big Sai’s has some of the best Hawaiian BBQ on the mainland. I’m not one to leave many reviews, but when you wake up with drool on your pillow from dreaming about this place then it obviously deserves a review. I’m a combo plate kind of guy, I like variety. When I tell you that ish was cooked to perfection I mean it. Succulent, tender, and euphoric are the only words I would use to describe it. The rice… so soft and fluffy and the perfect side along with the Mac salad to complement the meat. If you pass this place up you’re are missing out on paradise in your mouth. Fair warning: nothing will ever be as good so eat at your own risk.

Foods great! That’s all you need to know. Service and atmosphere is what you’d expect. I gave atmosphere a 4 because they have some awesome football jerseys displayed around the eating area.

Bland. That’s the word I would use describe this restaurant. I had great hopes for this restaurant. But I was quickly disappointed. The Teriyaki sauce was really good! Lots of flavor and great consistency. But the rest of the food lacked. The chicken was dry and the rice and macaroni salad lacked flavor. The macaroni salad is also a very small scoop compared to other restaurants. I saw a few reviews that also echoed that the food was bland but decided to try it myself because I love Hawaiian BBQ. It’s also never a good sign when you walk in and a family member of the restaurant is sleeping in the corner (see photo). I guess that means the owners have given up? Hopefully they can turn it around!

Food was ok. Large amount for $14. Rice was amazing. Two large scoops rice two hamburger patties two eggs with gravy. The pasta salad had no flavor. Quick service
