First thing’s first, the pricing is amazing! In this economy? Five stars! I’ll tell you why the food wasn’t first in a second.
Second, the food. I ordered breakfast, if I order from somewhere I’ve never been in person, it usually feels like a safe bet. Anyway, I ordered the western omelette with the hash browns and toast (I really wanted grits but something in my spirit said no and I’m glad I listened).
Omelette – it was ok, just American cheese, ham, green bell peppers, and onions. Nothing to write home about, they did put a little pepper on the eggs (though still bland). I like fluffy omelettes, but this one is cooked hard— so it’s pretty thin, either cut into it and let it hang from your fork or fold it with your fork and catch the other ingredients kind of thin.
Now, the reason I mentioned the pepper, those hash browns! They didn’t see anyone’s salt, pepper, onion, or garlic powder. Normally shredded hash browns make my day and these were just sad. They had a little crispness on the top, that’s nice.
(I can hear it now, “you can add your own seasoning,” of course, but it tastes better when you do it while cooking, I swear)
I didn’t order for myself, but other parts of the order were French toast and pancakes. Stole a bite of the French toast without syrup— bland. More toast than French, they taste like the toast that comes with the omelette. It gives me frozen and thrown on the grill vibes. No cinnamon, vanilla, anything.
Although, considering the other food, it’s totally possible they took a piece of bread, put it in egg wash, and put it on the grill.
I honestly blame myself when I have bad takeout or delivery, because yes in this economy I probably should have cooked. I won’t be back, but based on other reviews they don’t need me. So we’re even.

The food is good and the owner is friendly. The place is small but the atmosphere isn’t bad. I usually get breakfast to go. There is an additional credit card fee I believe 3% for debit or credit card payments. You may wanna pay with cash.

Great spot in Pontiac, a nice atmosphere and amazing service. Our waitress Kiana was so welcoming and sweet. She made great recommendations and made sure we were looked after. Tried the coney dog and the Nick’s chicken wrap. Give it a try.

We ordered 3 cheeseburgers, one with chili cheese fries, one with fries and ranch and one just the burger. One raved about the burger and the chili cheese fries, one thought the burger was good, not entirely the best burger, but it was better than most. They thought the fries and ranch were good too. The third person didn’t think it was worth the money, but said it was okay. The three of us ate for just over $31, which was a good deal we thought. It’s a bit of a dive, tiny, filled with working class people looking for good food at a reasonable price. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, two of us will be back for the burgers and the other will continue to go for the really good breakfast.
