Big Mike’s Ribeye 24 oz was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Catfish and Sirloin steak were a big hit was well! Don’t forget to order the mushrooms and mozzarella wedges. Yum!

Our first time at Big Mike’s at City Harbor was a great experience! We were seated promptly after arriving 15 minutes after opening. We had the hot crab and shrimp dip appetizer. The dip reminded us of our eats in Charleston, SC. Hubs and I both ordered the steaks! The flavor was actually spot on. We would definitely go back and have a date night here. The atmosphere is beautiful and the views of Guntersville Lake are spectacular. Such a pretty location! We live in Huntsville and frequently visit Guntersville and it’s worth the drive. 10/10 ⭐️

Our waitress was exceptional and the wait was quite reasonable despite how busy it was. Unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. The first steak I ordered came out medium well despite having ordered medium rare. These things happen though so I handled it gracefully and politely asked for a replacement. The second came out almost spitefully rare, as seen in the photos. I showed my waitress and tried to respectfully convey that this was almost raw. She then grabbed her manager whom I showed the steak and his response was “that looks a bit on the rare side” and offered to remake it which would have been fine had we not already had to wait on a second steak. I asked if I could get a discount since the steak was not at all appetizing or what I’d ordered and he proceeded to give me a 20% discount which is better than nothing but my order was not complex. For reference the steak was $65 alone. Perhaps I’m unreasonable but please take a look at the photos and judge for yourself. The steak edges that were cooked properly were delicious but unfortunately the majority was almost raw. Naturally I will not be returning here.

Truly, a ‘6-Star’ experience! This restaurant has all the similarities of a top-shelf steakhouse in the largest cityscape, and it shows! The overall effects from the number of people waiting for dining space, the views from the location, the attention to detail, the quality of the entrees, and family and friends gaining memorable moments altogether tells of our visit to this establishment. Job well done ✔️

Really good food. I got catfish and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Lightly breaded, not heavy and the fish was cooked perfectly. My wife got the pork chops, same as my fish, they were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The only reason for 4 star was that our server was a little slow to get back to us, drinks went empty a couple of times without seeing her for a little bit, not extreme but I’m just a firm believer in not letting any tables drinks go empty.

Big Mike’s is situated in City Harbor, Guntersville right along the lake where I imagine in the heat of the summer you could find boats filling up every available dock space. We had dinner here on a Saturday night and placed our names on the VERY lengthy waitlist. We waited an hr and half but enjoyed ourselves with a drink at neighboring restaurant. We strolled the dock and enjoyed our drinks while we waited. The menu is very standard steakhouse. We started with the onion straws and they were just okay, we typically don’t order apps but we were very hungry. I probably wouldn’t order them again, they were good tho. Crispy with a yummy spicy ranch to dip them in. I prefer a smaller steak so I wanted to order the 8 ounce rib eye but thankfully our server told us that cut is VERY thin and if you want anything less than medium you will be disappointed. So my husband and I ordered the 16 ounce rib eyes with baked potatoes and we each had a salad. The portions were generous and the steaks were cooked perfectly. Seasoned very well. Our server was very attentive even with how busy they were. We had a lovely dinner and I can’t wait to dine again this summer.

We go to the big mikes in orange beach and I was hoping this one is just as good and it was. The steaks have an amazing grilled Smokey steak flavor you can’t get anywhere else. Great service. Fast too. The view is great.

After reviewing several restaurants in the Guntersville area, I decided to try Big Mike’s, and I’m so glad that I did. My wife and I both had wonderful meals. The Ribeye that I ordered was aged and cooked perfectly. It was well seasoned, very tender, and juicy. I haven’t had a steak this good in quite some time. The appetizers are splendid and get your taste buds going and ready for a good meal. If you haven’t been to the Guntersville location, you should give it a try. Our server, Gabby, was always checking on our food and drink refills. She is a fabulous host, and we were very pleased with her attention to detail. We will return, and I would recommend this location to anyone who seeks to have a fantastic meal.

I was recommended to this place by a friend of mine, and I have to say that the food is soooooooo good. I had the crab cakes as my appetizer and the 16 oz New York Strip Steak as my entree, and had to take 1/2 of my steak home. I highly recommend this place. If I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would do so. Service was excellent as well.
