Peach cobbler should not be sold! Hard peaches and soaked graham crackers. I have never had peach cobbler that tasted so bad cold. The peaches were straight out of the can and still super hard. The chicken wings and gizzards were actually good with. I added a piece of catfish to the order. The Peach cobbler was disappointing once I got home and discovered the awfulness of desert.

Lemon Pepper seasoned fries and 3 LARGE catfish fillets for only $16?! It was amazing I felt bad I got full so quick. The food took a lil longer than expected but for the price I can’t really complain too much. AMAZING FOOD!!!

It’s a staple across the country. I was surprised to find a JJ Fish in Iowa, so I couldn’t resist. The gizzards were good. The chicken wings are on point, especially with that sauce in the plastic cup. The catfish nuggets were crisp and a nice size. And the shrimp were ok. I should’ve gotten my own tartar sauce, but everything was flavorful and decent price for all the food.

I enjoy their chicken and fries when I want something crispy and tasty. I like that they have meal specials each day makes trying different foods more convenient and affordable. I advise to maybe call and order in advance because the wait is usually about 15-20mins. I’ve been here a few times to know this place is worth trying if you’re on the fence.

Best chicken ever! Lemon and pepper seasoning, crispy on the outside side and well cooked on the inside. You can leave on the counter for hours and they’re still good. Fries are amazing! Crispy and perfectly flavored. Not fries from other restaurants that you wish they would put more salt in there. One thing I would suggest is to create smaller options like maybe 6 wings + fries. Right now the smallest option has 15 wings which is a bit too much.

Called at 11:43 17min before they close ol girl said they only accepting walk ins. Walked in at 11:45 and she said unfortunately we can’t take your order . I just talked to her on the phone and she never said WALK INS CLOSED AT 11:45. Lazy

Had the 10 piece Whole wings and fries. 10 whole wings is the same as 20 everywhere else. So $20 for 20 wings and fries is a pretty damn good deal. The wings were excellent too. Tons of flavor and fried just right.

It’s a hole in the wall food joint, and it had some of the best dive bar food I’ve had in a while. Fried mushrooms could have used a little salt, but the Italian beef dipped sandwich and their fries more than made up for it.
