Christopher was our server. He is wonderful, upbeat, answered our questions, and even laughed at a few of our corny jokes! he was very attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food was great too, we ordered an appetizer burnt ends pork belly, very succulent. The main course were the beef on weck with the horseradish sauce, the cod fish and chips, and the half rack of ribs (they bring out a nice assortment of BBQ flavors for you) We did order the dessert to go, bread pudding, it was still warm once we got home and very flavorful!

For me to rate this place a 5 says a lot. I have a super snooty palate and we just came back from a vacation in Ft. Lauderdale and still didn’t have quality food as we did here. For the price and the quality, flavors, portions…WOW, you can’t beat it! Kaitlyn was the sweetest and sold us on desserts to go, even though our bellies were so full, she showed us what we were going to indulge in later tonight!! I can’t wait to come back and try more of this delicious menu!

It’s been a while since we visited Big Jim’s. I’m happy to say Jim is back and the food reflects it.
First we had Caitlin as our server, who is extremely personable! She took great care of us.
We both got the Brisket Tacos, which were really,really good. Tender beef, seasoned perfectly. We honestly can’t wait to come back and try all their dishes! Great work.

I saw the Pinnellas podcast show on Valentine’s Day and went ahead and ordered some Texas style brisket being that it’s so rare to find a good place out here. I’m from Austin Texas anyways this place didn’t disappoint and their other items on the menu look so delicious. I highly Recommend Big Jim’s
I have passed by here many times for the last six years. I didn’t realize how good it was. Chris was my initial server and the bartender, Also makes a really great margarita and I’m not sure of her name, but she was awesome too.

Wow, what a great find. This morning when I turned on my phone the first picture that popped up was this incredible Reuben and I looked over at my partner and said we got to go find this Sheri and walked in with high hopes and higher expectations. Oh man, this place is awesome. Great location, friendly atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Yhe food is insanely good. I have traveled around St Pete and Tampa looking for one of the most perfect Reuben and by golly I found it.
I am so glad Jim took his place back.

We ordered the potato skins and added the bbq pork and they were soooo good! And of course our favorite, the wood fired wings. They are so flavorful and tender they fall right off the bone. If you like wings, you will love these! Their Philly cheesesteak is also awesome! The staff are always friendly and attentive and know the menu well. Go and Enjoy!
