The ube croughnut is the greatest thing on this planet earth that I’ve ever had the chance to experience. It looks so sweet but it’s not, it the perfect amount of sweetness. The cream on the inside MY GOD, IT IS PERFECTION. The ladies working were super sweet also. I’m so sad I discovered this place the day before leaving the island. This place is truly a gem. Thank you for making such an amazing pastry.

Feels like I just went to France when eating these pastries, but even better!! I recommend any of their croissants (crispy and flaky on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside), cinnamon rolls, and honey wheat loaf. I literally come here every weekend to get their pastries because it’s SO authentic! I got a fig and date as well as pesto goat cheese croissant this time.

Best hidden gem in Hilo Fresh baked and good variety of different kinds of pastries! If you’re an Ube lover, the Ube Crounuts are amazing, from the crispy texture to the cream filling!

There is a reason why people are lined up outside of this bakery! I got the Pain au Raisin. This is an extremely fancy, high end French pastry. One bite had me wondering, did this pastry chef go to culinary school in France? It had the flakiness of a croissant, but was flat and round. It was sprinkled with plump, juicy raisins and was topped with orange marmalade and white icing. Just incredible! There was a wide variety of sweet and savory baked goods, definitely something to suit anyone’s taste. You can even call ahead and have them set aside an order for you. I highly recommend sampling their exquisite creations!

These baked goods looked so good I had to try them.

My husband, mom, dad, and I all shared:
– Bambolini
– Pesto Goat Cheese Croissant
– Raspberry Almond Croissant
– Ube Cronut
– Lemon Meringue Cruffin
– Cinnamon Bun with Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting

My favorite things were the Pesto Goat Cheese Croissant, Lemon Meringue Cruffin, and Ube Cronut. We also went back a second time and I really enjoyed the Ham & Cheese Croissant.

They make lilikoi cinnamon rolls seasonally so I need to come back in season and try one of those!

Came for the croissants and left with way more than we needed. Everything was so good we had to come back the next day to get more. Lovely owner!

All the croissants are packed with filling and flavor. They’re perfectly flakey and buttery.

I had to try the lilikoi cinnamon bun and I’m not sure how I’ll go back to regular ones now. So good!

We both loved the basil and goat cheese croissant. Seems it’s a crowd favorite since it was sold out when we returned the next day

Will definitely return anytime I’m in the area!

Follow my adventures!

The BEST PASTRIES AND MACARONS we’ve EVERRRRRRR had!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we are connoisseurs of pastries and treats. We “mmmmmmmm” and “mmmm oohh mmmmmhhhh” with every bite. The flavors, the the moistness, the perfection on the cinnamon roll, muffins, and Pain Au Raison – *pastry chefs kiss*!! We went for donuts, but left with even better treats! The girls helping are as sweet as the treats! Hands down, a must go while in the Hilo area. It’s worth the drive and if you’re heading to the Volcano it’s on the way. I didn’t get a pic before we dove in, but you can see the pineapple and coconut in the muffin – incredible, so good! It was so hard to choose, everything looked so delicious! We’ll be visited them every weekend now.

Undoubtedly the finest bakery we discovered on the Island of Hawaii. This bakehouse offers a delightful array of incredibly aromatic and crispy croissants, bread, and various pastries. Our selections included a ham and cheese croissant, a brioche bun with tomatoes and cheese, a delectable lemon meringue cruffin, and a mouthwatering bomboloni. Each item surpassed expectations in terms of flavor and quality. For those inclined toward savory croissants, the ham and cheese option is a must-try—it truly stands out as one of the best! The lemon cruffin impressed with its crispy croissant dough and delightful lemon crème. And, not to be missed, the bomboloni was exceptionally soft, generously filled with crème, and an absolute delight.
