Great place! We loved everything we ordered. Mushroom burger was so juicy. Chicken tenders, my son says they’re the best he’s EVER had. Chicken fried chicken was my favorite. Everything was cooked to perfection. Tasted freshly made. Definitely going back. Service was exceptional, forgot her name, but she was great.

We were a pretty big party, but they still accommodated us by moving tables. The waitress was very attentive to all of us. All of our food came out great! And just how we ordered. We had a cheese burger with sweet potato waffle fries, Philly cheesesteak with tots, and an order of lemon pepper dry rub wings. The food was very good! Was nice and hot. Had not one complaint from our table.

I know Buffalo wings. I’m originally from Buffalo, NY! Great tasting Buffalo wings outside of Buffalo, NY are difficult to find.
Well what do you know……Big House Burgers has the recipe. These wings were even better tasting than Brewster ‘s in Corpus. Well done BIG House! What the wings lack in size they make up for in flavor. I found myself rubbing my fries in the wing sauce on the bottom of the plate. It was that good. You could dip a dog turd in this sauce and I’d eat it.
The burger was tasty too. It also lacked stature, but the fresh tasty bun and delicious meat made up for it’s shortcomings. The veggies were fresh and the dill pickles were crispy and vinegary….as they should be! The ranch dip was delicious too!
The barn feel was cozy and welcoming. My kind of atmosphere. We counted 9 TV’s on the walls, so there was plenty of entertainment while waiting for the food. The place wasn’t extremely busy, but it seemed to take awhile to get the food, but no complaints…..it came out fresh and pipin’ hot! The fries were unremarkable, as well as the sweet potato Waffle fries, however they really heaped a pile of them on the plate. They should offer sweet potato HOT Waffle fries soaked in that Buffalo wings sauce. There would be a line at the door!
Don’t let the bar scare any families away. It is completely separate and in the rear of the building. No annoying loud music or unruly patrons!
Careful with the milkshake…..$6 + and it is a medium cup. Delicious though!!!

Hadnt been to this location in years and dropped in to the same great food. Delicious fresh fried items in the cactus bowl. My chicken fried steak sandwich was delicious and tasty, the other entree the ribeye steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and was also flavorful and filling. Great service! Cold AC.

A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny. The food was excellent and a hefty generous amount. You won’t be left hungry. The ambience is great, super cold AC for those hot summer days. I like they have the bar section walled off from the family section. The staff is friendly and value their customers. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks a ton for the relaxing lunch.

Placed a door dash order today. Jan. 5th 2025. Only to be told that I had to pick it up myself anyway. Drove to the location in alice tx. Waited 10 minutes before I was helped. Then received my food and went home. ALL FOOD WAS SOGGY AND NASTY. it was put directly into the to go container and got wet from condensation. My cheese frys were a brick of melted cheddar with the paper stuck to them making them inedible. The veggies on the burger was wilted and soggy as well. Worst $70 I’ve ever spent.

Had to come her eto Alice today to take dog to Vet! Opened the doors here and sat at bar. Asked for a Coors Light on draft and it was empty….someone didn’t do their job last night! Not too cool.
Place pretty dead for lunch.
Food was darn good and of course beers were nice and tall!

Great tasting deluxe burger & fried mushrooms (careful with the mushrooms though-i burned the roof of my mouth when they came out super hot) service was good-waitress seemed new and didn’t really know what beers were available but was very attentive. Didn’t like that the table was wobbly and boyfriend said the draft beer had a wine taste possibly due to unflushed lines. Also got charged extra for the one ranch that came with the appetizer. Spent about $50 for the both of us. Overall had a good experience.
