It’s very rare to find a hidden gem amongst all the mediocre restaurants we have, but boy did we hit the jackpot with this one. Big Head Ed’s just opened a few weeks ago and they are still trying to work the kinks out. They started with a food truck and so many people asked for a brick and mortar building to buy their food. So they opened on Bells highway in Walterboro and the magic begins. I know they are overwhelmed with the influx of patrons compared to the food truck but they are killing themselves to do this right. When we got to the counter we both ordered their most popular item the blackened black and blue double cheese burger with grilled onions and blue cheese with huge slices of thick cut bacon. It came with a large amount of fries and a drink. For a very reasonable price. I’m telling you folks you must give them a try. I know you won’t be sorry.

About the only place in Colleton county with a decent craft beer selection. Burgers and fries were really good. The hibachi fries were fantastic (not that spicy).

We were traveling through for the holidays and really wanted to find some place we could get a good craft beer and dinner. Options in Walterboro were SLIM! We are SO glad we saw that these guys had some good beers on tap, specifically we LOVED the Bound by Time hazy IPA! Yes, we are those people who are more concerned with the beer, but we got LUCKY! Because we also had the best burger ever, the Bacon Black and Blue – OMG soooooo good! This is a family owned business with lots of local and family pride and history. We are so delighted we found this hidden gem! It’s easy to miss tucked in the corner of a little shopping plaza. Look for it! It’s so worth the trip!

I haven’t even finished my burger yet and wanted to hop on here and leave a great review. I had the Nash smash, and it was delicious! I’m not a huge Smashburger Guy, but these were quite amazing. The bacon, pimento cheese and the burger just all blended Beautifully. Also love the seasoning you guys put on the fries. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I might grab another one on my way home from work.

Small town burger shop ran by great people. They do there best to make sure everyone is greeted and everyone has a smile on their face. Burgers are absolutely amazing. This isn’t McDonald’s or any other fast food chain. You’re gonna wait for your food but because of that it’s hot and fresh every time. Eddie works super hard and puts all his love and passion into this and it shows.
