Brian and Bryan were incredible. They made the whole experience even better with their great service and easygoing personalities. You can tell they love what they do and take pride in making sure guests feel welcome.
Everything about this place felt fun, chill and high quality. It’s the kind of spot where you can unwind, grab amazing food and drinks and just have a great time. Definitely coming back soon.
I visited on a Monday right after they opened. The parking deck is right across the street and only a dollar an hour.
I observed a large outdoor patio which looked nice and I’m sure is fun when the weather is warmer. I walked inside and observed a large to go beer cooler and merch area.
The inside seating area is pretty big and a huge wrap around bar. There were already several patrons at the bar and tables. I sat myself and was greeted within a few minutes by the sole bartender – Brian. He was very nice, personable and poured beers quickly. He was by himself so not his fault but was stretched thin as the brewery started to get busier and it did not appear the servers poured beers at this establishment.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I elected to do regular fries and get the chicken “naked” but Korean BBQ and sesame ginger sauce on the side.
It took around 20 minutes for my food to come out. I was disappointed to see the sandwich was coated in what looked like a sauce with sesame seeds.
Brian immediately looked frustrated and took it back to the kitchen. I waited another 20 minutes for my second sandwich to come out that had both sauces on the side this time.
The chicken was extremely dry and over cooked. It was like chewing a hockey puck and was almost tasteless. I was extremely disappointed. The fries were decent and Brian even offered to get me more fries for my inconvenience but I declined.
The beer was pretty good. My favorite was the SHWA (super crisp, easy to drink and delicious).
I would come back again to drink it but would second guess buying food again.
Suspicions confirmed…easily one of the top burgers I’ve had in Omaha. Fantastic!!
Garden salad was perfect. Even the tea (my bride’s beverage of choice) was fantastic.
Tried a pair of IPA’s and the Fortune Favors was a perfect complement to the food.
Our waitress (Carmela) was phenomenal.
We don’t know what your secret is, but the waitress we had last week (Maryann) was great and the one this week was great as well. Had plenty of suggestions and was engaging. Maryann spotted us and came over to say ‘hi’. Great atmosphere and great food and great refreshments and great service.
You guys are killing it.
Please pass our compliments along to your team and Carmela especially (and Maryann)
The bowl starts with a generous foundation of tender Yakisoba noodles, perfectly coated in a rich, slightly sweet hoisin soy sauce. This base provides the deep, umami-rich flavor that defines the dish. The texture is brilliant, punctuated by crisp, shaved vegetables that add freshness and crunch.
What truly elevates this bowl is the careful use of spice and aromatics. The chili sauce brings a delicious spiciness that is substantial without being overwhelming, warming the palate and cutting through the sweetness of the hoisin. This is expertly balanced by the brightness of fresh ginger and crisp scallions, providing layers of flavor in every bite. The final touch—a beautifully cooked fried egg—adds a rich, runny yolk that mixes into the noodles, binding the dish together and reinforcing the overall extremely tasty profile.
Beyond the food, the experience was truly memorable thanks to the staff. Our waiter was extremely friendly, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience that matched the high quality of the meal.
If you’re looking for a hearty, flavorful, and perfectly spiced Asian-inspired dish, the Stir-Fry Noodle Bowl at Big Grove Brewery is an absolute winner. It’s a highly recommended dish supported by genuinely great service.
