The food was crazy expensive for what you get. With all the amazing new restaurants to pick from in the area, I would pass on this place.
The pretzel bites were way off, tasting like sweet rolls. I do not recommend. The fries are very soggy with no flavor other than the seasoning they sprinkle on top. And the cocktail sauce is basically ketchup. I gave it two stars for atmosphere and staff was friendly. That is all this place had going for it.
Happy Hour drinks are always a plus. This is a hidden gem. Cmon and enjoy the patio now that weather is breaking. Super sweet Folsoms sisters that are ready to make you smile and enjoy your visit.
Service was the highlight of the visit. Our waitress was incredibly nice and patient, even when things got a little bumpy. For example, I ordered a Moscow mule and asked if it was served in a copper mug. She wasn’t sure, so she checked with another waitress who said yes—but when the drink came out, it was in a regular glass. It’s a small detail, but copper mugs help keep the drink colder and are kind of part of the experience.
The food was where things fell short. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp basket with fries. Both the fish and shrimp were heavily breaded to the point of being dense, and they really needed just a touch of seasoning to bring the flavors out. My coworker had an even rougher experience—he tried to order wings, was told they weren’t available, then told they’d take a while, then told they could actually make them right away. After all that back and forth, he switched to shrimp and catfish, but his plate came out with only shrimp.
Overall, I’d give the waitress 5 stars for effort and friendliness, but the food and kitchen execution really brought the experience down to about a 3-star visit. I might give them another try in the future, but next time I’ll probably order something different.
Service was slow. It took about 10 minutes before we were asked for drinks, while other tables that sat down after us were served faster. Once service started, it was okay, but the initial delay set the tone for the visit.
I ordered an entrée-sized Caesar salad along with chicken tenders and waffle fries. The Caesar salad was $11 and came out palm-sized, looking more like a side salad than an entrée. The waitress did bring out another salad with slightly more lettuce, but even then it still didn’t justify the price.
The chicken tenders and waffle fries were just okay — nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. And they’re chicken tenders, which are hard to mess up. For the prices being charged, the food should have been much better.
The drink pricing was also surprising. I was charged $3 for soda water. I ordered Old Fashions, and there was an additional $2 charge just for adding smoke on top of the regular price, which felt unnecessary.
Overall, it seems like management is trying to save a dollar while hoping patrons won’t notice what they’re actually getting for their money. But walking in on a Super Bowl Sunday and seeing the crowd size makes it clear that people do notice.
I won’t be returning, and I’ll be sharing my experience with friends and family so they can pass it along to others.
Lovely find in Mansfield. Atmosphere is amazing. they have a huge patio and lots of indoor seating. Our server we lovely and managed to take all of our order without writing any of it down. It all came out perfect. The drink menu is by far the best in town. The food is nothing short of amazing. we tried the jerk chicken egg rolls the fried shrimp the chicken nachos and the grilled chicken sandwich and also had to get a side of their tots. We will definitely be coming back many times!!
