We have to give this little spot all 5+ with these delicious steaks! The salad bar was perfect to serve yourself. We left very happy & so worth the drive. A huge “Thanks” to the entire Team there for the great experience.

Fiancé and I stopped at Big Ed’s for a steak dinner. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Service, Good. Appetizers, good. Salad bar, good. Steaks, perfectly cooked. Left side of the house is family atmosphere, and if you want a beer with your meal, you go to the right side. Lovely place!!! We will definitely come back!!! 5 is not enough stars! I’m not one to leave reviews, But! This place definitely deserves a 5 star review! Stopped in on Thursday evening after working in the area and got a Fillet Minon and it was hands down the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfectly! I’ll definitely make the drive to come back some time!!

Have tried so many times to eat here just always really really busy. Heard a lot of hype about this place ever since I moved to Kansas. Steak was pretty good, not as good as Silverado’s in Piqua or Union in Humboldt but it still had a great taste. The waitress was very good about keeping my beer attended. Could be my age thing but i never see anyone my age(21) at these kinds of restaurants. Kind of odd. if you are young like me give these spots a chance never know ill you try. give those ma and pa places a opportunity Would add to my rotation of restaurants on a Saturday.

This is always a hit for me.
We went for lunch but I had to have the garlic coleslaw, my favorite.
If you go for dinner you can’t beat the steaks.
We get the Butt for 2 a shareable Sirloin with enough to take home .
It comes with each of you getting a side and of course a trip to the salad bar, did I mention garlic coleslaw:)

I was hopeful that the ribs would be as good as I have heard. Unfortunately, they were not. Maybe we went to the wrong place. The ribs were dry and stuck to the bone. We ended up taking them home and gave them to the dog. On the other hand, the baked potato was excellent.
To sum up our experience, Great potato with a side of dog food for $30.

Last time we ate at Big Ed’s it was just OK. This time it was real good. Several steaks and a lot of the Big Ed baked potato. First time to have that and it was good. My Ribeye had a couple of rough spots (gristle) but not horrible, but the flavor was good. My son liked his ribeye too. I don’t care for the restroom. The … is too close to the sink. It needs a partition. We will be back. Thanks Ed and staff.
