First off we waited over 30 minutes to get a seat on a Thursday. Sat for 15 waiting on the waitress to take our drink orders. Then another 45 minutes for the pizza to come out. The pizza it self was sub par at best. Very little sauce that sure didn’t taste like pizza sauce. Taste was bland, very stingy with the toppings that they charge you 1.50 extra for, mushrooms from a can. Crust was under cooked and soggy from the grease coming through the pie and soaked through the cardboard. Knew we should have left when we seen them cutting pizza with scissors. Absolutely horrible experience

Had the Big Ed Veggie Pizza with jalapeños added! Could use a tad more pizza sauce but overall amazing dinner! The inside of this place is inviting and rustic! Loved the atmosphere and recommend it for those who love a small-town feel.

Been trying to get here since I moved to the area five years ago. We got witted right away but think we hit at right time. It’s bigger inside than it appears from outside. We each got 12 inch and thought we made a mistake not getting 14 inch. The 12 inch was fine. Highly recommend and will be back.

Nice ‘hole in the wall’ place near Methodist Medical Center. Pizza was good. They only list pizza on their menu. It’s definitely far from fine dining. It was clean, but also kinda felt a little cluttered and dusty.

Best pizza around. We had a vegetarian and the Big Ed’s special pizza, yum. If there’s a long wait during peak dinner time, then you can try arriving about 1 to 1.5 hours before close. That may get you seated more quickly. Also a tip to consider is wearing warm clothes no matter the time of year. It’s always super cold in the restaurant.

Big Eds is always great! Pizza has been the same since I can remember. That’s definitely a good thing! Staff is always great and helpful. There’s a reason we save this place for celebrations and special occasions! Hope it stays the same for future memories because we will be going back many more times.

I think we went on a bad day perhaps. I didn’t like the thin crust of the pizza. Very thin. Didn’t have a variety of pizza toppings like other pizza places do (example no choice of sauce or cheese) very basic and simple choices. I would have enjoyed pizza elsewhere being able to choose from a lot.

Loved it. I hadn’t been here in years. Menu had good selection. Pizza excellent with lots of toppings. No skimping at Big Eds. Crust tasty as well. Servers helpful and prompt. Family like atmosphere, energetic, and inviting. Only negative was host wasn’t at front when I entered and I waited awhile before anyone showed.
