Super cute and cozy atmosphere as a repurposed train station! The reviews did not lie, the burgers are DIVINE! Highly recommend the jalapeño cheddar buns. You can even get fried okra as a side!

We went there today for lunch.
My wife and I had the Amtrak Burgers I had Onion Rings my wife had seasoned fries.
Everything was delicious. Best burger I have had hands down in many years from anywhere. The sour dough buns were also top notch. My mother in-law had fried shrimp with onion rings. And was just as pleased as we were. Your seasoned fries are awesome too.
We live in Mason and will be spreading the word and we can’t wait to come back again.

I’m from Panama, Louisiana, Hawaii, England, and Florida. I love seafood. West Texas is not the place to find it. Not gonna lie this is the best fried seafood (catfish) I’ve ever had. Hot, moist, crispy, and tender. The breading and seasoning hits the spot so good. If you’re here just go ahead and order double. The kitchen bickering is the charm I needed and the respect to maintaining the the history of this remote area is what I am proud to call home. I was born an hour away and when I travel these hills I love to find places like this… especially when they can just hit it. The breading is a mix of what my grandma made with flour and crisco but with that creole flavor and love from both worlds. I appreciate this stop so much.

This is the place to get a juicy burger! This might be the best burger I have ever had! The sourdough bun is divine and the burgers are cooked perfectly, so juicy and flavorful! The fries are also really good! They also had a steak special which looked delicious!

What a fantastic place!!! First of all, it’s a stunning historic train station. We sat down wherever we wanted. Our server came over, got our orders and made us feel right at home, letting us know all of the specials. We ordered fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and couple of very delicious burgers. We were delighted with everything. I can’t wait until we live here, full time and can make it our usual spot. Thank you Tabitha and Caleb!!

We stopped here for lunch during a road trip. This place was a great find.
The staff was very friendly and greeted us right as we walked in, as soon as we sat on the bar, we were already being offered beers and recommendations.
The burger was incredible! Ordered the Rio grande burger. The patty was very well seasoned and juicy, added mushrooms to the already well prepared burger which in my opinion made it perfect. The jalapeño cheddar bun adds great flavour, to complete one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
I will definitely stop by here again if I’m in the area.

This was my first time here. Came at lunch to eat and do a little work on my laptop.
First, it’s a great building. It’s the former train stop in Brady. They have done a great job refurbishing it. Keeps the original feel but also feels modern.
I had the catfish basket on special. They use the thicker part of the fillet so it was nice and juicy. Thick cut fries were also cooked well.
I sat at the bar since I was by myself and didn’t want to feel rushed. The staff was very nice and the service was excellent.
I mentioned I was there to work a bit, so let me also say they have WiFi and power at the bar. The bar itself was nice and deep so plenty of room for a laptop.
Overall, highly recommend!

Awesome experience during our first visit while in town from Houston on a hunting trip. We come up to the area several times a year and will definitely be back! Everything we ate was delicious — top-notch boudin balls and onion rings. Delicious pizza and burgers with incredible sourdough buns. All fresh and well-seasoned. Our 11-year-old had a great time playing in the arcade. Service was excellent and the entire staff is so friendly and gets along well… including having an impromptu/possibly ongoing water gun battle, which was highly entertaining!! So great to see a well-run and fun (full bar, music, cool outdoor seating, pool table, darts, etc. btw) but still family-friendly spot in Brady.
