Diamond in the rough Big D’s is a low key no-frills southern buffet. Lunch is $13.50, Dinner is $17.50, and on Thursday during Lunch: Fried Pork Chops are on the menu!
Looking below I plated up some Mac n Cheese, rice, pulled pork (vinegar based & sweet mustard based BBQ sauces are available on the side), coleslaw, fried chicken, biscuit, chicken bog (South Carolina classic), corn , hushpuppies, collards, crispy pork skins the list goes on. I didn’t manage to snap a pic of my desserts but the Banana pudding and Chocolate delight were both delicious!
My only “What Could Have Been” was the Mac N Cheese. It had baked cheese on top but lacked flavor throughout. It was unfortunate but everything else was exceptional for the price point. There are tons of options in addition to what’s on my plate to fill up on! I shouldn’t even have to mention the bottomless sweet tea haha.
Absolutely worth going for the Lunch buffet!

We often frequent the buffet for lunch and it’s always good but We had D’s cater our work Christmas lunch and it was incredible. Everything was so good, fresh and hot. The sweet potato soufflé was to die for. Literally the best sweet potatoes I’ve ever had. Was very reasonably priced and an abundance of food. Thank you!

I’ve driven by this place so many times and never stopped in. I needed something reasonably priced for dinner tonight and—honestly—not sure why I had low expectations, but wow was I wrong. This meal was so good!
The original BBQ was absolutely delicious, and the chicken bog, coleslaw, and hush puppies were all super tasty. It was the perfect amount of food, and I ate every bite except one tiny piece of gristle in the pork.
Some of the best BBQ in the area for sure. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

A reasonably priced buffet filled with delicious southern inspired food. A sweet potato casserole that by itself is worth the price of admission. Vegetables that never disappoint. A rotating variety of meat items, including the always present pork BBQ and fried chicken. For example, Wednesday is meatloaf and Thursday is grilled pork chops (those are our favorites). Endless supply of iced tea and soft drinks. Friendly service from everyone that works there.
Unpretentious, friendly, great variety, and delicious food for easily the best all you can eat value in the area. There’s good reasons we eat there at least 2 or 3 times a month.

To start off, the food was amazing. properly cooked, some other side dishes could easily be tuned to your flavor. the service was superb. one of the staff even took my trash quickly and nicely. and the people, everyone was kind and talkative. the safest and most comfortable I’ve felt in a restaurant ever.

Great country cooking buffet. Some dishes are everyday and then they have daily features. Tuesday as an example is Chicken livers and gizzards in addition to their staples. Personally, I love this place. The food is great and the staff is wonderful. If you enjoy a country buffet, you will love this one.

We were referred to this restaurant and I’m so glad we went. I’m very picky about my BBQ and they met all expectations. The other food was delicious! The young lady that comes around to check if you need anything else stayed on to of refills and such. Overall great service and food, definitely a place to go back to.

Delicious! I drove an hour here just to get some to go plates! The hash was so so. Other than that, everything else was great! FYI, they DO NOT accept Cash app or Venmo cards.
