My wife and I have eaten bbq all over Texas, the Carolina’s, and Colorado; we have very different tastes…we both agree every time we try bbq somewhere it doesn’t hold a candle to big Doug’s. If you told me the best bbq I’d ever eat was in Creede Colorado I’d have asked you if you’ve also seen pigs fly…turns out pigs do fly; this bbq is remarkable. It is far and away the best bbq we’ve ever had.

This little hole in the wall BBQ truck place is well worth the stop! Big BBQ sandwiches and great brisket. They have picnic tables outside to enjoy the cool Colorado weather, but I would recommend to pick it up and Jeep to a beautiful overlook and eat.

Great sauce with friendly service. When you add in that every meat we tried was delicious you have a great place to eat. We enjoyed the excellent brisket, pulled pork and chopped beef. I highly recommend all three. My wife who is a BBQ snob was also impressed. Thanks again for providing great BBQ.

Good bbq, similar to what you find in Texas. I want to try the sliced brisket next time. This time we got the Pig Out Sandwich (with pulled pork and raspberry chipotle sauce). Chopped brisket sandwich (comes with their sauce already mixed in it). And chopped brisket loaded potato. The potato is huge! All the food is a lot and can be split probably. Charro beans are pretty good too. Good value. The bbq sauce is a little “peppery” (I like a sweeter kind) but overall a great bbq place and will come back.

It was sold out of lot of stuff on a Saturday but They had plenty to eat. Nice shady outdoor area to eat. They have a bathroom you ask. Food was good. And can get it to go. Even had Wi-Fi

Big Doug’s brisket sandwich one of the best I’ve had in a long time. My wife even said the same thing when you go see big dog go hungry big Doug does not skimp on the meat. Big Doug has a raspberry sauce that goes on the sandwich along with coleslaw. A western but southern thing I highly recommend it. When you order feel free to say hi to Doug he’s more than cordial. Happy to talk to you. He likes knowing where you’re from. he has a nice shaded area with picnic tables.

The bbq meat was spot on. Would have give 5 stars, but we got there about a half an hour before they close and our selection was limited. They were out of all but 2 choices of meat and they were out of some sides.

turkey was sold out so I didn’t get meat. but the cheesy potatoes were SO VERY GOOD! I tried to make a knock off recipe at home. not nearly as good as Big Doug’s!
